The series consists of three parts: Part1: Definitions and general requir

22、ements(IEC60684-1); Part2: Methods of test (IEC60684-2); Part3: Specifications for individual types of sleeving (IEC60684-3). This standard contains one of the sheets comprising part3, that is: Sheet409: Glass textile sleeving with polyurethane (PUR)-based coating 1 Scope This sheet of IEC60684-3 gi

23、ves the requirements for E-type glass sleeving in a braided construction with a continuous polyurethane (PUR)-based coating with a thermal index of155. This type of sleeving is normally available with internal diameters between0,5mm and30mm and is normally supplied in the following colours: black, b

24、lue, brown, green, grey, natural, pink, red, violet, white, yellow and green-yellow. It is allowed to colour either the complete sleeving or single yarns of the sleeving. Sizes or colours other than those specifically listed in this standard may be available as custom items. These items are consider

25、ed to comply with this standard if they comply with the other property requirements listed inTable 2 andTable 4. Materials which conform to this specification meet established levels of performance. However, the selection of a material by a user for a specific application should be based on the actu

Any abbreviation for colour shall comply with IEC60757. NC is used for “natural colour,” “no colour” pigmenta

30、tion. Where no abbreviation is given, the colour shall be written in full. Colour combinations shall be designated by adding the codes of different colours in alphabetical sequence. 4 Requirements In addition to the general requirements given in IEC60684-1, the sleeving in the sizes normally availab

31、le shall comply with the requirements inTable 1,Table 2 andTable 4. 5 Product qualifications Product qualifications shall normally be based on results from10mm black sleeving.
