Foreword The text of document 72/672/FDIS, future edition 2 of IEC 60730-2-12, prepared by IEC TC 72, Automatic controls for household use, was submitted to the IEC-CENELEC parallel vote. Together with common modifications prepared by the Technical Committee CENELEC TC 72, Automa
15、tic controls for household use, it was approved by CENELEC as EN 60730-2-12 on 2005-10-01. This European Standard supersedes EN 60730-2-12:1993 and its amendments A1:1997 and A11:2005. It incorporates amended requirements for electronic controls in Annex H. The following dates were fixed: latest dat

28、ectrically operated door locks 1 Scope and normative references This clause of Part 1 is applicable except as follows: 1.1 Replacement: In general, this part of IEC 60730 applies to electrically operated door locks intended to prevent the opening of doors in equipment for household and similar use.
29、1.1.1 Replacement: This standard applies to the inherent safety, to the operating values, operating sequences where such are associated with equipment protection, and to the testing of door locks used in, or in association with, household and similar equipment. This standard is also applicable to do
30、or locks for appliances within the scope of IEC 60335-1. Throughout this standard, the word “equipment” means “appliance” and “equipment”. Throughout this standard, the word “door” means “door, cover or lid”. The words “door lock” mean “electrically operated door lock”. This standard does not apply
31、to door locks designed exclusively for industrial applications. This standard is also applicable to individual door locks utilized as part of a control system or door locks which are mechanically integral with multi-functional controls having non-electrical outputs. Door locks for equipment not inte
32、nded for normal household use, but which nevertheless may be used by the public, such as equipment intended to be used by laymen in shops, in light industry and on farms, are within the scope of this standard. 35、e value is dependent upon the method of mounting the door lock in the equipment. Where a response value is of significant purpose for the protection of the user, or surroundings, the value defined in the appropriate household equipment standard or as determined by manufacturer shall apply. 1.1 Repla
