In 1992 the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization (CENELEC) accepted IEC 835-3-1:1990 as European Standard EN 60835-3-1:

9、1992. As a consequence of implementing the European Standard this British Standard is renumbered as BS EN 60835-3-1 and any reference to BS7573-3.1 should be read as a reference to BS EN 60835-3-1. BS 7573 is published in three Parts. The other Parts are: Part 1: Measurements common to terrestrial r

10、adio-relay systems and satellite earth stations; Part 2: Measurements on terrestrial radio-relay systems. This Section of BS 7573 is intended to be used in conjunction with BS7573-1.1. General 1 Scope This part of the standard, which is supplementary to Part 1, IEC 835-1-1, describes methods of measurement applicable to satellite earth station systems using digital modulation. The object of this part is to provide recommended methods of measurement for assessing

25、the essential properties of satellite earth station systems as well as the associated sub-systems and it is intended to be used in conjunction with Part 1, IEC 835-1-1. Where measurements common to terrestrial radio-relay and satellite earth station systems are required, reference is made to the app

26、ropriate section of Part 1, IEC835-1-1. In such cases, only those special aspects of the measurement appropriate to satellite earth station systems are described in the sections of this Part 3.
