EN 61008-1:2012 includes the following significant technical changes with respect to EN 61008-1:2004: complete revision of EMC sequences, including the new test T.2.6 already approved in EN 61543; cla

18、rification of RCDs current/time characteristics reported in Tables 1 and 2; revision of test procedure for Inbetween 5 A and 200 A; testing procedure regarding the 6mA d.c. current superimposed to the fault current; improvement highlighting RCDs with multiple sensitivity; tests for the use of RCCBs

19、in IT systems. Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent rights. This European Standard falls under Directive 2004/108/EC. NOTE (from CEN/CENELEC IR Part 2:2011 , 2.17) Where standards f

37、all under EC Directives, it is the view of the Commission of the European Communities (OJ No C 59, 1982-03-09) that the effect of the decision of the Court of Justice in case 815/79 Cremonini/Vrankovich (European Court Reports 1980, p. 3583) is that compliance with A-deviations is no longer mandator

38、y and that the free movement of products complying with such a standard should not be restricted except under the safeguard procedure provided for in the relevant Directive.
