22、istance of the colour of textiles of all kinds, and in all forms, to the action of bleaching baths containing peroxide in concentrations commonly used in textile processing. 2 Normative references The following standards contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions

26、of the textile in contact with one or two specified adjacent fabrics is immersed in the bleaching solution, rinsed and dried. The change in colour of the specimen and the staining of the adjacent fabric(s) are assessed with the grey scales. 4 Apparatus and reagents 4.1 Test tube, of diameter and len
27、gth such that the composite specimen roll will have a reasonably snug fit in the tube and be covered by the bleaching solution (4.3). 4.2 Reflux condenser, fitting the test tube (4.1), to reduce evaporation from the bleaching bath during the test. 4.3 Bleaching bath, of the composition given inTable
28、 1. Prepare the bleaching bath as follows: Place cold grade3 water (4.7) in the bath. Add sodium silicate (orsodium pyrophosphate for bath3). Add magnesium chloride. Adjust the pH. Add hydrogen peroxide. Heat to the appropriate temperature specified inTable 1. 4.4 Adjacent fabrics, each measuring40m
29、m 100mm (see ISO 105-A01:1989, subclause 8.3). Either: 4.4.1 A multifibre adjacent fabric complying withISO105-F10. Or: 4.4.2 Two single-fibre adjacent fabrics, complying with the relevant sections of F01toF08 of ISO105-F:1985, one piece being made of the same kind of fibre as that of the textile to
30、 be tested, or that predominating in the case of blends, and the second piece being made of the fibre as indicated inTable 2, or, in the case of blends, of the kind of fibre second in order or predominance, or as otherwise specified. 4.5 If required, a non-dyeable fabric (for example polypropylene).

32、n 5.1 If the textile to be tested is fabric, a) attach a specimen measuring40mm 100mm to a piece of the multifibre adjacent fabric (4.4.1), also measuring40mm 100mm, by sewing along one of the shorter sides, with the multifibre fabric next to the face of the specimen; or b) attach a specimen measuri
33、ng40mm 100mm between the two single-fibre adjacent fabrics (4.4.2), also measuring40mm 100mm, by sewing along one of the shorter sides. 5.2 Where yarn or loose fibre is to be tested, take a mass of the yarn or loose fibre approximately equal to one-half of the combined mass of the adjacent fabrics a
34、nd a) place it between a40mm 100mm piece of the multifibre adjacent fabric and a40mm 100mm piece of the non-dyeable fabric (4.5) and sew them along all four sides (see ISO105-A01:1989, subclause9.6); or b) place it between a40mm 100mm piece of each of the two specified single-fibre fabrics and sew a
35、long all four sides. 6 Procedure 6.1 Loosely roll the composite specimen in the direction of the long edge, place the40mm roll into the test tube containing the appropriate bleaching solution (seeTable 1) and keep it well covered by the bleaching solution for the time and at the temperature indicate

40、all sides except one of the shorter sides and dry by hanging it in air at a temperature not exceeding60 C with the parts in contact only at the remaining line of stitching. 6.3 Assess the change in colour of the specimen and the staining of the adjacent fabric(s) with the grey scales (4.6). 7 Test r
41、eport The test report shall include the following particulars: a) the number and date of publication of this part of ISO105, i.e.ISO105-N02:1993; b) all details necessary for the identification of the sample tested; c) the number of the bleaching bath used; d) the numerical rating for change in colo
42、ur of the specimen; e) if single-fibre adjacent fabrics were used, the numerical rating for staining of each kind of adjacent fabric used; f) if a multifibre adjacent was used, the type of multifibre adjacent fabric used and the staining of each type of fibre in the multifibre adjacent fabric.ENISO1
