14、TC 117 “Industrial fans” of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has been taken over as EN ISO 12499:2008 by Technical Committee CEN/TC 156 “Ventilation for buildings” the secretariat of which is held by BSI. This European Standard shall be given the status of a national stan

15、dard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by April 2009, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by April 2009. Sincefans,bythenatureofthefunctiontheyperform,containrotating parts, they present a mechanical hazard whichhastobeminimizedoravoided.Asafandoesnotusuallyhavetobeaccessibleduring“normaloperation“,a fixed guard can be applied.
