30、failedthetest,byinspectingeachone forcracksorbreakage. 6 Thermalshockresistance 6.1Passtest Asampleshallbedeemedtohavepassedthetestifnomorethantheagreednumberarecrackedorbroken,after beingsubjectedtoanagreedthermalshockoft 1 t 2 . 6.2Progressivetesttoaspecifiedpercentageofbreakages Containerswhichpa
31、ssthetestshallberepeatedlytested,asdescribedinclause5,butwithincreasingt 1 t 2 values,untilaspecifiedpercentageofthecontainersfailthetest. NOTE Normally,thedifferencebetweent 2 andt 1 isincreasedin5Cincrements. 6.3Totalprogressivetest Containerswhichpassthetest,describedinclause5,shallbetestedinacco
32、rdancewith6.2,untilallthe containersfailthetest. NOTE lfthetesthasnotbeenconcludedbythetimethetemperatureofthehotwaterbathreaches95C,thetestshould becontinuedbyloweringthetemperatureofthecoldwaterbath. 6.4HighIeveltest Containersshallbetestedinaccordancewithclause5,butatatemperaturedifference,t 1 t
33、2 ,sufficientlyhighto causeanagreedpercentagetofailinasingletest. 7 Thermalshockendurance Thecontainersshallbetestedinaccordancewiththetotalprogressivetest,describedin6.3,andthenumberof failuresateachtemperaturedifferenceshallberecorded.ENISO7459:2004(E) 6 Thethermalendurance,whichistheprobabletempe
34、raturedifferenceatwhich50%ofthecontainerswouldhave failed,isdeterminedfromagraphofthecumulativepercentageoffailuresagainstthetemperaturedifferenceat whichthecontainersfailed. 8 Safetyrequirements Thistestproceduremaybeinjurioustohealthifadequateprecautionsarenottakenbytheoperator.Testsshould becarri
