28、system,themicrobiallyderivedcarbon dioxide(CO 2 )ismeasuredinthetrapsthroughwhichgasexhaustedfromthetestvesselsispassed.Someofthe CO 2 remainsinthemediuminthevesselsasdissolvedinorganiccarbon(DIC),theconcentrationofwhichmay increaseasbiodegradationproceeds.Astheorganiccarbonapproachescompleteremoval
