21、orosilicone rubber material possessing excellent ozone resistance properties intended for the production of items such as sheet, mouldings and certain extrusions for use in sealing applications in contact with petroleum basedfuels,hydraulic fluids and lubricants and with silicone and certain ester b

22、ased fluids over the temperature range 60 C to 150 C1).For applications in air the material is suitable over the temperature range 60 C to 180 C.This material standard is to be used in conjunction with BS EN 3207.NOTE 1 Material and products manufactured from this specification, when used in air, ma

23、ybe used up to 200 C for short intermittent periods.NOTE 2 Material and products manufactures from this specification are not intended for use in contact with phosphate esters.NOTE 3 Further information on the suitability of fluorosiliconerubber for design applications can be found in SBAC Technical

32、effect of liquids3Terms and definitionsFor the purposes of this British Standard, the following terms anddefinitions apply.3.1 polymermaterial formed by joining together many (poly) individual units (mer) of one or more monomers.3.2vulcanizationthermosetting reaction involving the use of heat and pr

33、essure, resulting in greatly increased strength and elasticity of rubber-like materials.4Material4.1 Material compositionFluorosilicone polymer shall consist of a homogeneous mix of recognized rubber quality products suitably compounded and cured to meet the requirements of this specification. Norec

34、laimed or groundvulcanized waste shall be used in the mix.4.2 Manufacturing controlFluorosilicone rubber material and products manufactured from this material shall be formulated and manufactured to issue controlled documentation, which shall form part of the contract between purchaser and manufactu

35、rer.Changes to the formulation or manufacturing process shall not be madewithout due consideration being given that the modified material/product meets all the requirements of the standard.BS F 154:20062 The British Standards Institution 2014 BSI 2006 3BS F 154:20064.3 Classification and gradesMater

36、ial shall be supplied in three nominal hardness grades:Grade 60;Grade 70;Grade 80.Material or products manufactured to a nominal hardness grades other than those specified shall, with the exception of hardness, meet all the requirements of this specification specified for the grade embracing the nom

37、inal hardnessvalue. Tolerances, if required tighter than those specified within this specification, shall not be tighter than 3.NOTE For example, where a hardness of 65 is specified, the requirements of Grade 60 apply as the value of 65 lies within the 56 to 65 hardness range of Grade 60.5Properties

38、Material manufactured in accordance with Annex A shall meet the requirements specified within Tables 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.The first production batch and every subsequent 10th batch of material shall be fully tested in accordance with material standard line numbers specified in Tables 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.Al
