Together with ISO10653, ISO/TR11761, ISO/TR11762 and ISO/TR11776, this first edition of ISO10654 cancels and replaces ISO3004-1:1986, ISO3004-2:1989, ISO3004-3:1986, ISO3004-4:1986, ISO3004-5:1
16、988 and ISO3004-6:1986, which have been revised and condensed. Annex A of this InternationalStandard is for information only.iv blankISO10654:1993(E) BSI 02-2000 1 Introduction This InternationalStandard replaces ISO3004-3 for round open-top cans for carbonated drinks. Round open-top cans defined by
17、 their nominal gross lidded capacity, formerly listed in ISO3004-1 to ISO3004-6, are now dealt with in ISO10653. The nominal filling volumes given in this InternationalStandard have been chosen to meet criteria retained in order to reduce the number of standardized volumes in relation to the former
18、InternationalStandard (ISO3004-3). These criteria are the following: a) the can size is produced in a quantity of at least100 million cans per annum; b) the can size was previously listed in Table1 of ISO3004-3:1986; c) the inclusion of the can size has been supported by at least three member bodies
19、 of TC52. NOTE 1The can sizes appearing in this International Standard are classified by their construction type in ISO/TR11762. Can sizes which were previously included in ISO3004-3 but not given in this International Standard are listed for information in ISO/TR11762:1992, Annex A. 1 Scope This In
20、ternationalStandard specifies the nominal filling volumes and related diameters of round open-top cans for a liquid products with added gas. 2 Normative reference The following standard contains provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this InternationalStandard.
