18、SO 12614-4:2014Road vehicles Liquefied natural gas (LNG) fuel system components Part 4: Manual valve1 ScopeThis part of ISO 12614 specifies tests and requirements for the manual valve, a liquefied natural gas fuel system component intended for use on the types of motor vehicles defined in ISO 3833.

19、This part of ISO 12614 is not applicable to the following:1) fuel containers;2) stationary gas engines;3) container mounting hardware;4) electronic fuel management;5) refueling receptacles.NOTE 1 It is recognized that miscellaneous components not specifically covered herein can be examined to meet t

20、he criteria of this part of ISO 12614 and tested according to the appropriate functional tests.NOTE 2 All references to pressure in this part of ISO 12614 are to be considered gauge pressures unless otherwise specified.NOTE 3 This part of ISO 12614 is based upon a working pressure for natural gas as

21、 a fuel of 1,6 MPa (16 bar). (1 bar = 0,1 MPa = 105 Pa; 1 MPa = 1 N/mm2.) Other working pressures can be accommodated by adjusting the pressure by the appropriate factor (ratio). For example, a 2 MPa (20 bar) working pressure system will require pressures to be multiplied by 1,25.2 Normative referen

25、nts name, trademark, or symbol;b) the model designation (part number);c) the working pressure or pressure and temperature range.The following additional markings are recommended:a) the direction of flow (when necessary for correct installation);b) the type of fuel;c) electrical ratings (if applicabl

26、e);d) the symbol of the certification agency;e) the type approval number;f) the serial number or date code;g) a reference to this part of ISO 12614 (i.e. ISO 12614-4:2014).NOTE This information can be provided by a suitable identification code on at least one part of the component when it consists o

The te

31、peration6.4.1 Test the manual valve in accordance with the procedure for testing continued operation given in ISO 12614-2, for 100 cycles, but lower the downstream pressure of the test fixture to less than 0,5 MPa (5 bar), and perform the leakage test in accordance with 6.3.6.4.2 Following cycling a

32、nd leakage retesting, the manual valve shall be capable of completely opening and closing when a torque no greater than the appropriate one specified in Table 3 is applied to the valve handle in a direction that opens it completely and in the opposite direction. The test shall be conducted with the
