23、ncrews(referredtoas “crew”inthefollowingtext).Thisisinadditiontotheperiodicalinspectionbytheclassificationsociety.Thepurpose ofthisinspectionistoensurethesafetyofabulkcarrierwhileonavoyageandduringloadingand/orunloadingat theport,andtobereadyforrepairsindockand/orberth.Corrosion,fractureanddeformati

24、onofthehullstructure andanyothercircumstancerelatingtothestrengthofthehullstructureandthesafetyoftheshipshallbe discoveredbythecrewsintime.Theinspectionshouldbecarriedoutinaccordancewithawrittenestablished procedurevalidforthecharacteristicsofthevessel.
