16、art of ISO 6489 gives specifications for the clevis couplings used in the attachment to agricultural towing vehicles of towed, non-balanced trailers and implements equipped with a coupling ring 40 as specified in ISO 5692-2 and ISO 8755. The mounting of one of the three trailer coupling shapes, A, B
17、 or C, on an agricultural vehicle or trailer is at the manufacturers or users discretion. The full interchangeability of the three shapes is provided for. 2 Normative references The following normative documents contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this

Tolerances on dimensions without individual tolerance indications shall be in accordance with ISO 2768-1:1989, tolerance class c. Limits and fits shall be in accorda
23、nce with ISO 286-1. The dimensions of trailer couplings of shapes A, B and C shall be as shown in Figures 1, 2 and 3, respectively. 29、towed mass of the towed vehicle, in tonnes; T is the admissible total mass of the motor vehicle, in tonnes. 6 Location The location of the pin coupling shall be as shown in Figure 4. For height-adjustable couplings, it shall be possible to realize a positioning in accordance with the value h (see Ta
30、ble 1). The value of h shall be in accordance with Table 1. 31、ical static download The maximum allowable vertical static download force shall be equivalent to a mass of 2 000 kg. 7.2 D value Trailer coupling shape A shall be designed for D u 90 kN; trailer coupling shapes B and C shall be designed for D u 120 kN. 7.3 Closed position Shapes B and C For shapes B
32、 and C after coupling, the closed and secured position of the coupling to the outside shall be indicated clearly and obviously. 8 Marking The identification block indicating conformance with this part of ISO 6489, the type designation and the manufacturers trade mark shall be attached to the couplin
33、g in a durable way.
