The standards committees are composed of representatives of relevant interests including producers, consumers and other users, retailers, government
3、s, educational institutions, technical, professional and trade societies, and research and testing organizations. Any given standard is developed on the consensus of views expressed by such representatives.CGSB has been accredited by the Standards Council of Canada as a national standards-developmen
4、t organization. The standards that it develops and offers as National Standards of Canada conform to the criteria and procedures established for this purpose by the Standards Council of Canada. In addition to standards it publishes as National Standards of Canada, CGSB produces standards to meet par

34、ed. They are intended for use in spark-ignition engines under a wide range of climatic conditions.This standard is not intended to apply to the mixing of oxygenated gasolines and gasolines, either at the point of retail sale or after the point of retail sale. Gasoline specified in this standard may
35、contain limited concentrations of aliphatic ethers and alcohols.Provincial and federal regulations control some parameters included in this standard.
