19、nization for Standardization) Standard 1001 5:1999 (first edition, 1999-1 2-1 5). world, under the auspices of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Technical Committee 176. Canada plays a major role in this area. The technical committee is chaired by a Canadian. The Secretariat o

20、f ISO/TC 176 is held by CSA on behalf of Canadas member body in ISO, the Standards Council of Canada. Canadian stakeholders participate actively in the administration and development of the IS0 9000 and IS0 10000 family of International Standards, through CSAs forum for national consensus in the dev

21、elopment of Standards. The CSA Technical Committee on Quality Management is the source of Canadian experts and public input for the IS0 9000 and IS0 10000 Standards. In its capacity as the Canadian Advisory Committee to ISO/TC 176 (CAC/ISO/TC 176) the Technical Committee is responsible for (a) devel

22、oping and submitting coordinated Canadian responses, comments, and voting actions on ISO/TC 176 documents; (6) developing and submitting Canadian proposals for new international work items; (c) recommending the Canadian delegates to participate in international meetings of tSO/TC 176, its Subcommitt

23、ees and Working Groups; and (d) recommending the Canadian position for delegates to take in international meetings. 32、nal Organization for Standardization) is a worldwide federation of national standards bodies (IS0 member bodies). The work of preparing International Standards is normally carried out through IS0 technical committees. Each member body interested in a subject for which a technical committee has been

33、established has the right to be represented on that committee. International organizations, governmental and non-governmental, in liaison with ISO, also take part in the work. IS0 collaborates closely with the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) on all matters of electrotechnical standar

37、he IS0 9000 family of standards (of which the IS0 10000 series form a part) emphasize the importance of human resource management and the need for appropriate training. They recognize that customers are likely to both respect and value an organizations commitment to its human resources and its abili

38、ty to demonstrate the strategy used to improve the competence of its personnel. Personnel at all levels should be trained to meet the organizations commitment to supply products of a required quality in a rapidly changing market place where customer requirements and expectations are increasing conti

39、nuously. This International Standard provides guidelines to assist organizations and their personnel when addressing issues related to training. It may be applied whenever guidance is required to interpret references to “education“ and ?raining“ within the IS0 9000 family of quality assurance and qu

40、ality management standards. Any references to “training“ in this document includes all types of education and training. An organizations objectives for continual improvement, including the performance of its personnel, might be affected by a number of internal and external factors including changes

41、in markets, technology, innovation, and the requirements of customers and other stakeholders. Such changes may require an organization to analyse its competence-related needs. This Intern

45、ational Standard applies to all types of organizations. It is not intended for use in contracts, regulations, or for certification. It does not add to, change, or otherwise modify requirements for the IS0 9000 series. This International Standard is not intended to be used by training providers deliv

46、ering services to other organizations. NOTE system elements - fat-2: Guidelines for services, until superseded by IS0 9004:ZOOO. The main source of reference for training providers should be IS0 9004-2:1991, Quality management and quality Training providers may use this International Standard when a
