17、Structure of management information. iv ISO/IEC 10164-3 : 1993 ) INTERNATIONAL STANDARD CCIIT RECOMMENDATION 1 INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY - OPEN SYSmMS INTERCONNECTION - SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT: ATTRIBUTES FOR REPRESENTING RELATIONSHIPS Scope This Recommendation I International Standard defmes a systems mana

18、gement function which may be used by an application process in a centralized or decentralized management environment to interact for the purpose of systems- management as defined by CCIn Rec. X.700 I TSO/IEC 7498-4. This Recommendation I International Standard defines the attributes for representing

19、 relationships and consists of services and generic definitions. It is positioned in the application layer of CCI7T Rec. X.200 I ISO/lEC 7498 and is defined according to the model provided by ISO/IEC 9545. The role of systems management functions are described by CCITT Rec. X.701 I ISO/IEC 10040. Th

20、is Recommendation I International Standard establishes user requirements for attributes for representing relationships; establishes a model tbat relates the service and generic definitions provided by this functio to user requirements; defines the services provided by the function; defines generic a

21、ttribute types, notification types and parmeters documented in accordance with CCITT Rec. X.722 I ISOAEC 10165-4; specifies the protocol that is necessary in order to provide the services; defines the relationship between the service and management operations and notifications; specifies compliance

22、requirements placed on other standards that makes use of these generic definitions; defines relationships with other systems management functions; specifies conformance requirements. This Recommendation I International Standard does not - define the nature of any implementation intended to provide t

43、3.8 Additional definitions For the purposes of this Recommendation I International Standard, the following definitions apply. 3.8.1 provider object (providing services) to the second, and that the second is a user object (using services) of the first. service relationships: An asymmetric relationshi

X.210 I ISO/TR 8509. In clause 9, the definition of each service in

49、cludes a table that lists the service parameters. For a given service primitive, the presence of each parameter is described by one of the following values: M the parameter is mandatory; (=) U - C the parameter is conditional; P the value of the parameter is equal to the value of the parmeter in the coIumn to the left; the use of the parameter is a Service-user option; the parameter is not present in the interaction described by the primitive concerned; the parameter is subject to the constraints imposed by CCITT Rec.
