However, to provide a consistent reference for manufacturing conformity, the following colors are recommended from the PantoneColor Formula Guide. In this guide, all color numbers are followe

Cable manufacturers should use the color coding proposed for all cables designed, manufactured and marketed for the connections identified in CEA-897. Color coding need not be applied to th

If this is done, color coding should be used to identify connector ends, for example, by use of appropriately colored heat shrink

Electronic component manufacturers should incorporate a color-coding marker or indicator, consistent with CEA-897, such as stick-on color labels, screened color indicators or colored plastic inserts for the input/output jacks themselves

Cable accessory manufacturers of devices such as barrels, wall-plates, switches, and splitters are encouraged to incorporate a color-coding marker or indicator

19、, consistent with CEA-897, such as stick-on color labels, screened color indicators or colored plastic inserts for the input/output jacks themselves. In the case of simple 1:2 splitter/combiners that may be connected in either configuration, it is suggested that all terminals be coded white or unmar
