It is anticipated that in the future Preferred components will be qualified to CECC European -800 series specifications which will eventually replace manufacturer

C Cores are available in Lamination thickness usually of 0,30 mm, 0,l mm and 0,05 mm.
12、They are also usually supplied in “preferred“ strip width dimensions, ranging from 5 to 200 mm. As a broad guide a lamination thickness of 0,3 mm would be used for wound components at power frequencies in the 50/60 Hz band, 0,l mm at power frequencies in the 400Hz band, and 0,05 mm at high frequenci
13、es or for wound components used in tfpulsell applications. Maximum working flux density is generally around 1,5 Tesla. With 0,3 mm material this would have an iron los of Approx. 2 watts/Kg at a 50 Hz operating frequency with 0,1 mm material, the iron loss would be approx. 20 watts/Kg at a 400Hz ope
14、rating frequency. Chapter 2 - Magnetic oxide cores for wirewound inductors and low power transformers: The different shapes of components fix the electrical, electromagnetic characteristic of the component ie. E shape : E cores and EC cores are used for low or medium power transformers at frequencie
15、s from 10 to 300 KHz. ETD (Economic transformer design) are developed for transformers up to 1OOOW and application frequencies up to 200KHz. Pot core (Round pot) are used to build transformers requiring low leakage inductances. The finished component consists of a coilfomer (one or two sections), tw
16、o cores halves, (high permability and low loss material) and clamps. RM (Rectangular module = Square pot) are used for constructing with a good shielding of magnetic stray field. high density mounting without a mutual coupling. This allows a Chapter 3 - Magnetic oxide toroids for general purposes. M
17、agnetic oxide toroids with high permeability find use in a variety of components ie. pulse transformers, converter transformers, wide band transformer. It has the advantage that no audible noise occurs as a result of magnetostriction as with laminated cores. Due to the high saturation inductance, th
18、ese toroids are also suitable for us as loading coils. The frequency range suggested is less than 100KHz. The diameter range is graded fro 2,5 mm to 100 mm. These chokes are manufactured with windings of enamelled copper wire with tinned axials leads.
20、Depending on the value the core consists of a carbonyl iron, ferrite, or non ferrous material. Core chokes are especially suitable to limit the leakage current, for safety requirements for example with a high asymmetric inductance. Adjustable inductance value. board mounting. 21、ring Miniature chip with high temperature-stable enamel copper wire, wound on a square shape ferrite core. These are suitable for automatic placement. - Delays lines. delay linestf delay an analogue or logic signal with minimum of distorsion with a large range of delays and impedance. They are const
22、ructed from “lumped constantIl inductive and capacitive elements. Active delays lines are used with TTL or DTL logic and delay as well as regenerate the signal. Chapter 6 - Transformers for General and Specific Use. The capability “boundaries“ listed in this chapter cover the construction of wound c
23、omponents over a complete spectrum of Power and frequency requirements, ranging from Power frequencies using Laminated cores including ilC1l cores, and Ferrite cores, and Toroids for use at High Frequencies Assemblies range from small PCB mounted products, to Free standing Clamped and Bolted product
