5、W T/GSI 02-08 E Page 2 1. GENERAL ASPECTS Supplementary Services are used to modify or enhance a basic Bearer Service or a Teleservice to the users needs. They can only be offered as an addition to the basic services. The capabilities to support supplementary services can be implemented in the netwo

The definition and description of individual supplementary services is given in Recommendation The des

SUPPLEMENTARY SERVICES TO TELESERVICES MATRIX For those supplementary services which will be offered during phase 1 and phase 2 of the ISDN implementa- tion, the association with the individual teleservices is contained in Annex 1. A provisional associa

The following symbols have been used in Annex 1 and Appendix 1. Where more than one variant of a supplementary serv

E: Indicates that the supplementary service is essential, has a high priority for introduction and should be made available internationally. A: Indicates that the supplementary service is identif

T: Supplementary services in principle may be located in either the network or in the terminal or a combination of both. The T indicates that a terminal solution is
