GENERAL The supplementary service Connected Line Identification Presentation provides the ability to indicate the ISDN number of the connected line with possible add

DESCRTPTION General Description This supplementary service is not a tiidling check hilt an ititiicrtion to the cdling siihscriher ?i the cuiiiiectcd line. In a full ISDN environment. the connected line identity must inclu
6、de all the information necessary to unambiguously identify the connected line: this information is generated or checked by the network. Moreover, the information on the connected line identity may include additional address information generated by the connected user and transparently transported by
7、 the netmork. The network is not responsible for the content of this additional information. The network delivers the connected line identity to the calling party regardless of the terminal capability to handle the information. Appcabiliy This supplementary service is applicable for all telecommunic
8、ation services. Terminology The controlling subscriber is the calling subscriber. Presentation Restriction Aspects of Connected Line Identification Connected Line Identification Restriction includes two options: i) Presentation Indicator stored in the public nehvork (local exchange) as a default val
9、ue for each user. The default value may be “presentation allowed“ or “presentation restricted“. This default value may be changed onlj by the network provider. ii) Presentation indicator included in the connect message received from the connected user. The first option is considered a minimum implem
10、entation. This option may be available on subscription basis or be generally available. The s

This part is presented in the COLP-description. 3. DERIVATION OF A FUNCTIONAL MODEL The model used for i

13、d Line Identity will he delivered to the calling party by his local exchange and/or ISPBX when the call enters the active state if the Connected Line Identity is available and presentation allowed. If Connected Line Identity is not available in the originating local or transit exchange at call conne
14、ction time, the exchange may optionally request the Connected Line Identity from the destination local exchange. The specifications of functions for COLP include adaptions for private network applications (in a full privatc network environment) and mobile network applications. The Connected Line Ide
