29、l O Rinsing Properties - When tested in accordance with CANICGSB-2.11, Method 31.1, the detergent shall be free- rinsing. 4.11 Soap Content -When tested in accordance in accordance with CANKGSB-2.11, Method 29.1, the detergent shall not contain soap. 4.12 Optical Brightness - When tested in accordan

30、ce with CANKGSB-2.11, Method 40, the detergent shall appreciably increase the optical brightness on the fibres specified in par. 4.2. 5. PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY 5.1 Packaging and Packing - Unless otherwise specified (par. 7.1), normal commercial packaging and packing shall be acceptable. 5.2 Labell

31、ing - in addition to complying with the labelling requirements of any relevant Acts or Regulations, each container shall be suitably labelled to show the following information: CAUTION - It is advisable to wear protective gloves when cleaning requires prolonged or frequent exposure to this detergent

32、, since it may cause skin irritation. 5.2.1 Any environmental claims and/or representations stated on the label shall follow the Department of Consumer and Corporate Affairs Principles and Guidelines for Environmental Labelling and Advertising. 5.2.2 The labelling shall also indicate warnings and fi

33、rst aid instructions appropriate to the hazards and properties of the product in the event of eye contact andor accidental ingestion. 6. 35、e detergent (using a set of riffles, e.g., Jones samplers) until it is approximately 250 mL in volume; grind this sample in a Waring blender or equivalent at high speed for 2 min; use portions of this ground product for testing. 6.2.1 STPP andor TSPP (as PiOs) 6.2.1.1 Reagents Hydrochloric acid (HCl

36、) - Reagent grade Methanol - Reagent grade Sodium hydroxide (NaOH) - 30% solution of reagent grade material prepared so as to be free of carbonates Sodium hydroxide (NaOH) - 0.5 moi& solution 6.2.1.2 Procedure Accurately determine the mass of a representative specimen of approximately 2.5 g. Place i

37、t in a 150 mL porcelain evaporating dish and char it gently over a gas burner to expel the volatile matter. Transfer the dish with its contents to a muffle furnace operated at 55OoC for 30min. The ignited residue need not be free of carbon. Allow the specimen to cool and cautiously add 10 mL of conc

38、entrated HCl. Cover the specimen with a ribbed pyrex watch glass and evaporate to dryness, avoiding splattering. Treat the residue with 10 mL portions of a methanol-acid solution (10 parts of methanol + 1 part of concentrated HCl) and evaporate gently on a hot plate. Ignite the vapour. If borates ar

39、e present, the flame will be a green colour. Continue adding the methanol-acid solution portions until the flame is a normal yellow colour. Evaporate to dryness, take up with 50 mL of distilled water and 10 mL of concentrated HCl, and transfer quantitatively to a 400 mL beaker. Make up the volume to

40、 about 300 mL with distilled water. Cover with a watch glass and boil gently for 60 min and cool. If necessary, dilute the specimen to 200 mL and titrate to a pH of 3.0 with a 30% NaOH solution. Cool again and adjust the pH to 4.3 with the 0.5 moi& NaOH solution. Titrate carefully with the 0.5 mom N

41、aOH solution from pH 4.3 to the upper end point (pH 8.8) recording the volume of NaOH required (T). 6.2.1.3 Calculation Calculate the percentage by mass of P205 using the following equation: Tc x 7.098 % AO5 = where: T = volume of NaOH solution required for the titration of the sample from the ower

42、end point (pH 4.3) to the upper c = concentration of NaOH solution (mom) M = mass of the specimen (g) Certification of Composition - To facilitate the inspection of products covered by this standard, the manufacturer shall provide the testing authority with a certified statement that the mandatory i

43、ngredients, specified in par. 4.2, 4.2.1 and 4.2.2, are present and that the minimum requirement specified in par. 4.5 is met.
