The CGSB is engaged in the production o

The standards committees are composed of representabves of relevant interests including producers, consumers and other users, mtakrs, governments, educafional inmubons, technical

The Ministers Advisory Council on CGCB reviews the results of the consensus process. The CGSB has been accredited by the Standards Cou

The standards that it develops and offers as National Standards of Canada conform to the cntena and procedures established for this purpose by the Standards Council of Canada. In addrtion to standards d publishes as national standards, the CG

10、SB produces standards to meet particular needs, in response to requests from a variety of sources in both the public and pnvate sectors. Both CGSB standards and national standards developed by the CGSB are developed in conformance wtth the policies described in the Policy Manual for the Development

The specimens shall be drawn onto a suitable measuring reel in accordance with the following table: Linear Denslty (tex) (m) 50 or less 1 O0 More th

The yarn shall be drawn from the package in the manner in which it woul

44、d normally be drawn in processing. The skeins, or the smaller samples (par. 5.2), shall then be conditioned in accordance with CANICGSB4.2 No. 2-M and their masses determined with an accuracy of f 0.1 Oh (Note 2). The observed masses shall be averaged and the average linear density in tex (mass in g

45、rams per kilometre) or in other appropriate units calculated (par. 5.3 and Note 3). REPORT Report the following information: The average linear density. Note 7: For very coarse yarns, Convenient submultiples of this length may be used to avoid excessive build-up on the reel. Note 2: The linear densi

46、ty on a Specified Moisture Regain Basis - When it is desired to determine the linear density at a specified moisture regain, the moisture regain of the test specimens shall be determined in accordance with CANiCGSB4.2 No.3-M. The procedure shall be the same as above, except that the average mass of

47、the test specimens shall be adjusted by multiplying by the factor: 100 + specified moisture regain 100 + actual moisture regain Note 3. The average result of the specimens tested is an estimate of the true average for the material under test. A measure of the reliability of this estimate can be obta

48、ined by determining the confidence interval (CANICGSB4.2 No. 1-M, par. 6.2) within which the true mean will lie for any given probability.
