CGSB is engaged in the production of voluntary standards in a wide ra

SCOPE 1.1 This standard applies to the dimensions considered essential to provide for the fit of natural-waist fitting long pants and shorts for wear by little boys (CSS Slim and Regular Ranges sizes 2 to 6X), and boys (CSS Slim and Regular Ranges sizes 7 to 20 and Husky Range sizes 8 to 18)

APPLICABLE PUBLICATION 2.1 2.1.1 The following publication is applicable to this standard: Canadian General Standards Board (CGSB) CAN/CGSB-49.6-M - Application of the Canada Standard System for the Sizing of Girls and Boys Apparel. Reference to the above publication is to the latest issue unle

The source of this publication is shown in the Notes section. 2.2 REQUIREMENTS 0 3* 3.1 When measured in accordance with the definitions applicable to Tables 2a and 2b, the garment shall conform to the dimensional requirements of these

30、tables. Unless otherwise specified, the garment shall be measured with the fabric smooth and fully extended without tension. 4. DEFINITIONS 4.1 A dimension is a measurable distance; whereas a measurement is a number (in some suitable units) indicating the magnitude of the dimension measured. 4.2 The

31、 following terms are defined on the fold-out sheet: size indicator body dimensions, critical, minimum and recommended garment dimensions and reference body dimensions. Also included are the definitions applicable to the headings of the garment dimensions tables. 5. SIZE MARKING AND LABELLING 5.1 Exa

32、mples of size marking and labelling are contained in CAN/CGSB-49.6-M. 5.2 The designation of size is to be indicated by the appropriate size indicator body measurements or size code or both. 1 6. NOTES 6.1 Application of Garment Dimensions - Before this standard is used as a basis for a manufacturer

33、s pattern, it should be decided whether any of the minimum measurements of the dimensions in Tables 2a and 2b should be exceeded because of style considerations. Such changes may be made within the requirements of this dimensional standard. Reference body dimensions that appear in Tables 3a and 3b h
