CGSB is engaged in the production of v

The testing and evaluation of a product against this standard may require the use of materials and/or equipment that could be hazardous. This document does not purport to add

34、rl - The paper shall lie flat or havc no more than a slight curl that can be overcome under normal commercial operating conditions. Surface Condition - The paper surfacc shall bc rcc from blemishes, dust, lint and other particles that may adversely affect its conversion or end use. Trim - The paper

35、shall be trimmed with clean, smooth edgcs. Formation - The formation of the paper shall hc close and even. Stock - The paper stock shall normally bc trec from more than trace amounts (less than 1%) of unbleached or mechanical pulps except that no limitation is imposed on the amount of deinked or non

Moisture Content - This paper may be used either in air-conditioned pressrooms or in pressrooms lacking relative humidity and temperature controls. Unless otherwise

38、 specified (par. 7.1). the paper at time of delivery shall be in equilibrium with a relative humidity of 45 f 5% and a temperature of 23 f 03C. If specified “for use in non-air-conditioned pressrooms” (par. 7.1). the paper at time of delivery shall be in suitable equilibrium with seasonally prevaili

39、ng relative humidity and temperature conditions. DETAILED REQUIREMENTS Size - The paper shall be supplied in rolls of the widths specified (par. 7.1). Grammage - The paper shall be supplied in the grammage listed in Table 1, as specified (par. 7.1), within a tolerance of fi%. Thickness - The paper s

40、hall have the nominal thickness listed in Table 1. The difference between the highest and lowest thickness across the sheet shall not exceed 10 pm. Grain direction - The grain direction, when determined in accordance with Technical Section, CPPA standard D.1. shall be as specified (par. 7.1). Colour

41、 - The colour shall be as specified (par. 7.1). Hydrogen Ion Concentration (pH) - The pH value of the cold extract of the paper shall not be less than 4.8 when determined in accordance with Technical Section, CPPA standard G.25P. Smoothness - When determined on the Sheffield instrument, the smoothne

42、ss shall not be less than 130 nor more than 200 (par. 7.2). Physical and Optical Properties - Physical and optical properties shall be in accordance with the requirements of Table 1. PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY Unless otherwise specified (par. 7.1 ), normal commercial practice shall be acceptable. INSP

43、ECTION Sampling - Sampling of paper for inspcction and testing shall be left to the discretion of the inspection authority, unless a specific sampling plan is specified (par. 7.1).
