8、ings shall be taper pipe threads conforming to the Standard for Pipe Threads, General Purpose (Inch), ANSI/ASME B1.20.1, NPT; or the Standard for Dryseal Pipe Threads (Inch), ANSI/ASME B1.20.3, NPTF. 2Part II: Performance2.4 Strength, Flexability And Temperature Resistance OfConduit2.4.4The connecto
9、r shall resist crushing to the extent that a 200 Ib (90.7 kg) load placed on a 1 in (25.4 mm) section of the center of the hose will not reduce the capacity more than 50 percent nor cause the connector to leak when tested as specified in the following Method of Test.Method of TestThe connector shall
10、 be immersed in water to a maximum depth of 2 in (50.8 mm), with its center resting on a hard flat surface. A 200 Ib (90.7 kg) weight with a smooth metallic face 1 in (25.4 mm) wide shall be placed without impact on a 1 in (25.4 mm) section at the center of the hose. After one minute, the weight sha
11、ll be removed, the connector subjected to 6 in of Hg column (20.3 kPa) air pressure.
