42、rs, escalators, and moving walks for use when the original manufacturers recommendations are unavailable or there are insufficient data on the age, quality, and operation of the equipment.1.2This Standard is intended for use with ASME A17.1/CSA B44.1.3In CSA standards, “shall” is used to express a r

49、ianceEquipment specified in Clause 4.1.1 that is not in compliance with the requirements of the elevator code in effect when the equipment was installed or altered shall be replaced or repaired.4.1.3 Maintenance performed at three monthsAt intervals not exceeding three months, the maintenance required by 8.6.12.2.1 of ASME A17.1/CSA B44 shall be performed to ensure, to a reasonable degree, that the installation is in a safe operating condition.
