Dimensions in mm 1 Field of application and purpose This standard applies to the finished parts of drop forged and hammer forged single hooks with threaded shank, with or wit
3、hout nose, on lifting means and load carrying means of lifting appliances, which are used primarily for the suspension of loads. In this standard, ,power driven series produced lifting appliances“ is understood to cover also appliances which are incorporated in cranes. The correlation of the lifting
4、 capacity of the single hooks to the strength classes and driving gear groups is in accordance with DIN 15400. The dimensions specified for 24 apply to single hooks forming part of a lifting hook suspension conforming to DIN 15 41 1. In the case of single hooks which are exposed to intense heat (e.g
5、. where the conveyance of molten masses is involved), it is recommended adopting laminated hooks conforming to DIN 15 407 Part 1 and Part 2 for single hooks of size No. 20 and above. In this way, it is possible to standardize the finished parts with threaded shank made by different manufacturers. .

21、engths l4 differing from those specified in table 1 be required in exceptional cases, e.g. for use in conjunction with existing lifting appliances, this must be specified on ordering. In such cases the designation shall read as follows, e.g. for l4 = 1420 mm: Single hook DIN 15 401 - GFN 80 - 1420 -
22、 M See subclause 2.2 for designation of a single hook with threaded shank in combination with a lifting hook nut and a locking piece. 23、ning process of the knuckle thread, the single hook and the lifting hook nut are not interchangeable. So, both must be ordered simultaneously. Consequently the only designation examples given are those which relate to single hooks with threaded shank and associated nut. A ring gauge shall be used to
24、 fix the location of the single hook in relation to the lifting hook nut, see figure 6. By this means the common machining of the groove for the locking piece conforming to DIN 15 414 on the single hook and on the lifting hook nut in accordance with DIN 15 413 is made possible, as is also the interc
25、hangeability of the single hook with nut. The designation of a type GF hook shall then read as follows for example: Type GF single hook No. 32, Z3 = 250 mm and Z4 = 820 mm, of strength class P, with lifting hook nut (Mu) and scre

Single hooks conforming to this standard should predominantly be of strength classes M or P. 4 Finish The finished parts with threaded shan
30、k shall be manufactured from unmachined parts conforming to DIN 15 401 Part 1. Finish of all machined surfaces: in accordance with DIN IS0 1302, - roughness grade N 7 in the region of d4 and rg - roughness grade N 10 in the region of the end face of the hook shank and of d, - roughness grade N 8 in
31、all other regions DIN 7168 - m general tolerances shall apply to the dimensions of the machined surfaces of workpieces with no tolerance indication. 38、ickness have been deleted. c) The measured length y and the dimension z have been incorporated in the standard, both in the illustration and in table 1. d) DIN 15 400 has been adopted as the basis for material specifications and for the correlation of the lifting capacities to the strength classes and to the driving gear groups. e) Hammer forged single hooks of size Nos. 6 and 8 have been dispensed with. f) The standard has been completely revised editorially.
