The specifications relating to the composition apply both for casting sizes and for semi-finished products, see clause 5. 2 Designation When designating and ordering wrought magnesi
3、um alloy castings, the symbols and material numbers given in the table of this standard must be used. 2.1 Example of the standard designation Designation of a wrought magnesium alloy with the symbol MgAL3Zn and the material number 3.531 2: Alloy DIN 1729 - MgAl3Zn or Alloy DIN 1729 - 3.5312 2.2 Exam

5、t must be calculated on the basis of a specific gravity of about 1.8 kg/dm3. 4 Testing the composition Arbitration analyses and sampling must be carried out in accordance with the latest edition of “Analyse der Metalle“ (Analysis of Metals) of Chemikerausschuss der Gesellcchaft Deutscher Metallhutte
6、n- und Bergleute e.V. (Chemists Committee of the Association of German Metallurgists and Mining Engineers) Volume 1 “Cchiedsanalysen“ (Arbitra- tion Analyses) and Volume 3 “Probenahme“ (Sampling) (Berlin - Gttingen - New York: Springer-Verlag). The rounding rule according to DIN 1333 Part 2 must be
