17、operties the products are to have shall be specified when ordering, together with the relevant testmethods.4 Mechanical properties at ambient temperatureThe products shall have the properties specified in table 1.5 Chemical compositionThe chemical composition of wrought nickel and nickel alloy rod a

18、nd bars shall be as specified in the relevantstandards referred to in table 1.6 Dimensions and tolerancesDimensions and tolerances for wrought nickel and nickel alloy rod and bars shall be as specified in DIN 59760to DIN 59763, or DIN 59765 to DIN 59768.7 TestingTensile strength, proof strength and

19、percentage elongation after fracture shall be tested in accordance withDIN 50125 and DIN EN 10002-1. It is recommended that the hardness be determined based onDIN EN ISO 6506-1, using a ball diameter of 2,5 mm and a test force of 612,9 N (HBW 2,5/62,5). Where this isnot possible, the Vickers hardnes

20、s test in accordance with DIN EN ISO 6507-1 shall be carried out, hardnessvalues higher by 15% than for the Brinell test being acceptable.When expressing the result, rounding shall be in accordance with DIN 1333, to the same number of places asis given in table 1.Page 3DIN 17752 : 2002-09Designation
