Without this information, a specification of works as required in 7 ff., 7 EU ff. or 7 VS ff. of VOB/A (DIN 1960) ca

The specification of works shall, in particular, include the following information as and when applicable. 0.1 Site information 0.1.1 Type and quality of substrate. 0.1.2 Depth and types of foundation and constructional
22、details of, and loads from, neighbouring structures. 0.1.3 Type and condition of existing marginal strips. 0.2 Details of execution of work 0.2.1 Pavement construction. 31、or mass (t), placing of levelling courses: by mass (t), placing of asphalt base, basecourse, binder course, surface/wearing course and protection layers, and surface dressing: by area (m2), mass (t), or volume (m3), surface dressing of asphalt surface/wearing course: by area (m2), formation of joint
32、s and joint filling: by length (m), taking of samples for check testing: by number. 1 Scope 1.1 This standard covers the flexible pavement of roads of any type, including paved open spaces, airfields, courtyards, and railway tracks and platforms, the term “pavement” being understood to cover the asp
33、halt base, the asphalt basecourse, any asphalt binder courses, and the asphalt surface/wearing course, and surface dressing, asphalt protection layers and asphalt surface/wearing courses on bridge decks. 1.2 This standard does not cover the placing of coal tar pitch and pitch bitumen courses, the pl
34、acing of protection layers on waterproofing and screeds made of mastic asphalt (see DIN 18354). 1.3 DIN 18299, clauses 1 to 5 shall also apply. In cases where the specifications of DIN 18299 contradict the present standard, DIN 18317 shall take precedence. 2 Materials and components The specificatio
35、ns of DIN 18299, clause 2 shall be supplemented as follows: The requirements in the technical rules below cover the most commonly used materials. DIN 18317:2016-09 7 2.1 Requirements 2.1.1 Aggregates The Technische Lieferbedingungen fr Gesteinskrnungen im Straenbau (TL Gestein-StB)1)apply. Ashes fro
36、m domestic waste incineration, recycled building materials with components as in Annex B of the TL Gestein StB1)and volcanic slag shall not be used as aggregates for making asphalt. Foundry sand and cupola slag shall not be used for asphalt binder courses and surface/wearing courses. 2.1.2 Binders T
37、he following apply: Technische Lieferbedingungen fr Straenbaubitumen und gebrauchsfertige Polymermodifizierte Bitumen (TL Bitumen-StB)1), Technische Lieferbedingungen fr Bitumenemulsionen (TL BE-StB)1). Admixtures and natural asphalt in accordance with DIN EN 13108-4 may be added to binders conformi
38、ng to TL Bitumen-StB1)and TL BE-StB1). 2.1.3 Recycled asphalt The Technische Lieferbedingungen fr Asphaltgranulat (TL AG-StB)1)apply. The binder shall be suitable for the mix containing granulated asphalt as a component. 2.1.4 Asphalt 2.1.4.1 General DIN EN 12273 DIN EN 13108 (all parts) The design
39、of (asphalt) mixtures shall be at the contractors discretion. Due consideration shall be given to their intended purpose, the local climate, site conditions, and traffic type and flow. The binder shall completely coat and permanently adhere to the aggregate particles. The temperature of the aggregat
