Without this information, a specification of works as required in 7 ff., 7 ff. EU or 7 ff. VS
19、 of VOB/A (DIN 1960) cannot be properly drawn up. This information does not form part of the contract. The specification of works shall, in particular, include the following information as and when applicable. 0.1 Site information 0.1.1 Type, surface condition and fall of waterproofing substrate (i.
20、e. background or substrate to which the waterproofing membrane is applied). 0.1.2 Maximum groundwater table or flood level relevant for waterproofing; greatest depth of waterproofing below water level. 0.1.3 Water permeability of ground surrounding the structural element. 0.1.4 Type of use of struct
21、ures, spaces or areas to be waterproofed. 0.1.5 Depth and types of foundation and constructional details of, and loads from, neighbouring structures. 42、ors, fitments, etc. 1 Scope 1.1 This standard deals with waterproofing using bitumen, bituminous material, metal strips or plastics or rubber sheeting to protect structures against ground moisture, water (including seepage water) exerting hydrostatic pressure and such exerting no hydrostatic pressur
43、e, and the associated insulating, separating and protective materials and elements. It also covers waterproofing of intensive roof garden systems. DIN 18336:2016-09 8 1.2 This standard does not cover water-resistant concrete (see DIN 18331), waterproofing of roofs, including those accommodating exte
44、nsive roof garden systems (see DIN 18338), mastic asphalt work (see DIN 18354), sealing of carriageway deck slabs of bridges that form part of public highways, sealing associated with earthwork (including tunnelling) and waste disposal sites, waterproofing of walls of wet rooms in residential buildi
45、ngs, exposed to splash water. 1.3 DIN 18299, clauses 1 to 5 shall also apply. In cases where the specifications of DIN 18299 contradict the present standard, DIN 18336 shall take precedence. 2 Materials and components The specifications of DIN 18299, clause 2 shall be supplemented as follows: The ta
46、bles in DIN 18195-2:2009-04 cover the most commonly used standardized materials and components. The information provided in the tables relates to the European product standards on bitumen, plastics and rubber sheeting, and also to DIN SPEC 20000-202:2016-03.
