DIN 18357:2016-09 7 0.3 Details not included in the specifications of this standard 0.3.1 If specifications are to be made that are not included in the specifications of this standard, the

28、y shall be described separately and clearly in the specification of works. 0.3.2 Such specifications may be of particular relevance in: subclause 2.1.4, if the anti-corrosion finish is to be other than specified, subclause 2.2.1, if hinges are to limit the angle of opening to 90 or less and pins are

29、 not required to be made of steel, subclause 2.2.4.3, if other keys, or a greater number of keys than given in Table 1 are to be supplied, subclause 2.7.1, if electrical door openers are not to be designed so that they permit the door to be opened only while they are being actuated, subclause 3.2.3,

30、 if recesses required for mounting the hardware on the building elements to be furnished are not to be made by the contractor, subclause 3.2.15, if folding doors and concertina doors, consisting of more than three leaves, are not to be furnished with a bottom guide. 0.4 Details of associated tasks a

31、nd special tasks No details are required supplementary to those specified in DIN 18299, clause 0.4. 0.5 Accounting of works In the specification of works, accounting of works shall be based on the number of items (pieces), accounted for separately according to the type and dimensions of hardware com

32、ponents and according to the number of building elements for furnishing building elements such as windows, doors, gates, fitted furniture, mounting of individual components. 1 Scope 1.1 This standard deals with the mounting of hardware used for the (manual or automatic) opening and closing of doors,

33、 gates, windows and the like, or for keeping them in a given position. 1.2 DIN 18299, clauses 1 to 5 shall also apply. In cases where the specifications of DIN 18299 contradict the present standard, DIN 18357 shall take precedence. 2 Materials and components The specifications of DIN 18299, clause 2

34、 shall be supplemented as follows: The DIN Standards and other requirements below cover the most commonly used standardized materials and components: DIN 18357:2016-09 8 2.1 General requirements 2.1.1 Hardware comprising bolts, catches, roller catches, tongues, or other means of closure shall be sup

35、plied together with the associated matching hardware components (e.g. with striking plates, staples) in which latch bolts are to engage. 2.1.2 Bolts shall slide easily, but shall catch or self-lock in their final position. In the case of flush bolts, recess-type or thumb slides are adequate. 2.1.3 H

36、ardware that requires regular maintenance shall be designed to ensure that this can be effected easily after installation or mounting. 2.1.4 Locks and hardware on windows, doors and gates to the outside, as well as those used in rooms with high moisture levels, shall be protected against corrosion a

37、s detailed in DIN EN 1670. 2.2 Door furniture 2.2.1 Hinges DIN 18268 Hinges shall permit doors to open through an angle greater than 90. Pins shall be made of steel, even when intended for use in hinges made of nonferrous metals and in hinges for full glass doors. 2.2.2 Spring hinges DIN 18264 DIN 1

38、8265 DIN 18272 Spring hinges shall be capable of being adjusted and be designed so as to ensure complete closure of the door. 2.2.3 Latches, lock plates and escutcheons DIN 18255 DIN 18257 DIN 18273 DIN EN 1906 2.2.4 Locks 2.2.4.1 Locks shall in particular comply with the specifications of the follo

39、wing: DIN 18250 DIN 18251 (all parts) DIN 18252 DIN EN 1303 DIN EN 12209 DIN 18357:2016-09 9 2.2.4.2 Design, materials and means of fixture of locks, striking plates and staples shall be consistent with the safety requirements to be met by the door as regards security against unauthorized opening an

40、d forced entrance. 2.2.4.3 Keys shall neither bend nor break under the force applied manually during normal locking and unlocking. The specifications given in the table below are binding for the material, surface finish and number of keys to be supplied. Table 1 Type of lock Keys Number Material Sur

42、th a bolt that engages to a minimum depth of 15 mm in the bolt hole of the door frame. 2.2.4.5 Locks for main entrance doors made of wood shall be of the double-turn type or have a minimum bolt engagement depth of 20 mm. 2.2.4.6 Locks in doors giving access to transformer rooms shall be in conformit

43、y with the specifications of DIN EN 61936-1 (VDE 0101-1) and DIN EN 50522 (VDE 0101-2). 2.2.4.7 For locks in doors onto escape routes (anti-panic function locks), the regulations valid under public law shall be observed even if the door is for private use. 2.3 Hardware for gates, concertina doors, f

44、olding doors, and sliding doors 2.3.1 Hardware for folding doors and sliding doors shall conform to DIN EN 1527. 2.3.2 Sliding and folding door gear shall be secured against disengagement from its seating (track). DIN 18357:2016-09 10 2.3.3 Hardware for operating doors designed to open solely by lif

45、ting (lifting door) or by lifting and tilting (up-and-over door) shall ensure that the door remains fixed in its fully open position and preclude its shutting by itself from any position. 2.3.4 Sliding and folding door gear exposed to the weather shall be suitably protected against atmospheric corro

46、sion. 2.3.5 Sliding doors, concertina doors and folding doors in dwellings shall be designed to open and close with a minimum of noise. 2.3.6 The design of espagnolette bolts shall preclude their being engaged or disengaged unintentionally as a result of vibration. 2.4 Door closers 2.4.1 Door closer

47、s shall, in particular, comply with the specifications in the following: DIN 18263-1 DIN 18263-4 DIN EN 1154 DIN EN 1158 2.4.2 The closing action of door closers shall be cushioned and adjustable (i.e. the closing speed shall be adjustable). 2.4.3 To ensure reliable engagement of the latch bolt, the

48、 cushioning of the action of overhead door closers shall be adjustable in such a way that it can be interrupted just before the door reaches its final closed position (i.e. to increase impact energy at closure). 2.4.4 Door closers shall be designed and mounted so as to ensure that the force required for opening the door manually decreases at an opening angle of 10 maximum to not less than 60. 2.4.5 Hydraulic door closers exposed to outdoor temperatures shall be designed with respect to their thermal behaviour so as to ensure that adjustment of the closing speed t
