Without this informat
22、ion, a specification of works as required in 7 ff., 7 EU ff. or 7 VS ff. of VOB/A (DIN 1960) cannot be properly drawn up. This information does not form part of the contract. The specification of works shall, in particular, include the following information as and when applicable. 0.1 Site informati
23、on Type, location, dimensions and constructional details of any scaffolding installed by other contractors, and schedule for the installation or removal of such scaffolding. 0.2 Details of execution of work 0.2.1 Type and scope of work, e.g. coating new surfaces, partial renewal, complete renewal. 0
24、.2.2 Required corrosivity category and durability (see DIN EN ISO 12944 series and DIN EN 14713-1). Technique required for corrosion protection of structural steelwork using coating systems in accordance with DIN EN ISO 12944-8. 36、.4. 0.5 Accounting of works In the specification of works, accounting of works shall be based on the following: 0.5.1 Area (m2), accounted for separately according to type of construction and dimensions: solid walls and structures made up of sectional material with a developed size 1 m, windows, doo
37、rs, gates, etc., pipes with a circumference 1 m, tanks, sheet piling and profiled sheeting, railings, cover plates, gratings, etc. 0.5.2 Length (m), accounted for separately according to type of construction and dimensions: single sections and parts of section surfaces with a developed size 1 m, pip
38、es with a circumference 1 m, railings, additional coating, e.g. of edges and welds. 0.5.3 Number, accounted for separately according to type of construction and dimensions: tanks, cover plates, gratings, fencing, railings, windows, doors, gates, etc., DIN 18364:2016-09 7 fixings (e.g. brackets, pipe
39、 clips, hangers), additional coating of fasteners, flanges, valves including their flanges, reference areas. 0.5.4 Mass (kg, t), for the coating of structures/components or parts of these, the mass of which can be determined separately. 1 Scope 1.1 This standard deals with the corrosion protection o
40、f steel structures/components for which a structural analysis or a technical approval is required. It also deals with corrosion protection by coating, hot dip galvanizing and thermal spraying of metals on steel components and in combination with structural fire protection using fire protection coati
41、ngs. 1.2 DIN 18299, clauses 1 to 5 shall also apply. In cases where the specifications of DIN 18299 contradict the present standard, DIN 18364 shall take precedence. 2 Materials and components The specifications of DIN 18299, clause 2 shall be supplemented as follows: The DIN Standards and other req

45、ce irregularities, inadequate adhesion of existing coatings, existing coatings not having hardened sufficiently throughout, the presence of cracks, blistering, flaking and the like in existing coatings, unsuitable ambient conditions, unsuitable conditions due to inclement weather or the indoor clima
46、te (see subclause 3.1.3). 3.1.2 It shall be the contractors responsibility to choose the method used for surface preparation and application of any coating and to inform the client of this method prior to starting work. 3.1.3 Where work is to be carried out in conditions that are unsuitable due to i
47、nclement weather or the indoor climate (e.g. when work is to be performed on surfaces whose temperatures are less than 3 K above the dewpoint temperature of the ambient air), measures to prevent damage occurring shall be taken in consultation with the client. The work involved counts as a special ta
48、sk (see subclause 4.2.11). 3.2 Corrosion protection by means of coating systems 3.2.1 Coating new surfaces For coating new surfaces, the substrate shall be prepared to standard preparation grade Sa 2 in accordance with DIN EN ISO 12944-4, with the coating being applied in compliance with the clients requirements. 3.2.2 Repair of damaged coatings Depending on the specified durability according to DIN EN ISO 12944-1, coatings that are loose and/or rusted through shall be removed depending on the specified durability but shall be at least prepared to standard preparation grade P M
