DIN 18710 Engineering survey comprises: Part 1: General requirements Part 2: Site surveying Part 3: Setting out Part 4: Deformation measurements This standard applies in conjunction with DIN

7、 18710-1:2010-09. Site surveying involves taking measurements in order to draw up site and elevation plans providing documentation for a specific purpose at a specific time. All required quantities and spatial reference data describing the topography and construction works are collected by means of

8、a site survey. The objects points for which the positions are to be determined are individual points having some characteristic significance (e.g. mandatory points to be observed when planning and designing construction works). The results of the site survey document the geometric quantities and spa

9、tial relationships of the actual condition of objects, which may be solid bodies, surfaces or lines, or of individual points on objects at the time of the survey. The quality of a site survey can be documented in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001 and DIN-Fachbericht (DIN Technical Report) ISO 10006. A

10、ttention is drawn to the possibility that some elements of this document may be the subject of patent rights. DIN (and/or DKE) shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights. DIN 18710-2:2010-09 4 1 Scope This standard applies to the planning, execution, evaluation and d

11、ocumentation of site surveys (inventory surveys, called site surveys in this document). It defines the essential requirements on measurements to determine the position and sizes of objects. Site surveys are conducted for all objects relating to buildings and civil engineering works, process plant an

12、d machinery construction, infrastructures, traffic facilities as well as other engineering structures (see DIN 18709-1) when the results are needed for: planning and obtaining permits for projects; acceptance and verification inspections; compiling as-built and actual-condition documentation and cre

13、ating geospatial databases. This standard specifies rules for ensuring the quality (see DIN EN ISO 9001) of site surveys and standardizes information and evidence to be provided by such surveys. Application of the standard contributes to achieving trustworthy survey results and providing the data ob

14、tained by the survey in a form that is complete and correct for the intended use. It also ensures that survey results can be interpreted unambiguously. NOTE For as-built documentation for the purpose of checking the geometry of construction works or recording evidence, see DIN 18710-4. 2 Normative r

20、rements taken in a survey, of the geometric quantities of the actual condition of an object DIN 18709-2:1986-04 3.2 control survey independent survey carried out to verify specified geometric quantities of an object DIN 18709-2:1986-04 3.3 acceptance survey compliance survey control survey intended

21、to provide results on which approval and acceptance of an object can be based DIN 18709-2:1986-04 NOTE The results of the acceptance survey permit comparison of the actual condition of an object to the nominal condition. Acceptance surveys are used to verify the conformity of the actual geometry of

22、a structure or construction to the projected geometry. Acceptance surveys are jointly conducted by the contracting entity and the contractor. The results are accepted by all participating parties (see DIN 1961). 3.4 inventory documentation documentation of surface-related or spatially-related data o

23、f objects (e.g. transport infrastructure, pipe and power lines) in digital or analogue form NOTE 1 The actual condition is frequently documented in geoinformation systems. Such systems are intended to facilitate the administration of spatially-related object data, e.g.: industrial plants, by plant i

24、nformation systems; buildings, by facility management information systems; power lines and pipelines, by line information systems; roads, by road information systems; properties, by property information systems and railway networks, by track databases and railway network information systems. NOTE 2

25、For many applications, public geo-database information can be utilized, e.g.: the official German topographic-cartographic information system (ATKIS Amtliches Topographisch-Kartographisches Informationssystem), the official German cadastral information system (ALKIS Amtliches Liegenschaftskataster-I

26、nformationssystem). DIN 18710-2:2010-09 6 4 Requirements on site surveys 4.1 General The following specifications shall be taken into consideration when planning and executing site surveys and evaluating the results of such surveys. They supplement and/or explain specifications made in Clause 4 of D

27、IN 18710-1:2010-09. 4.2 Task description 4.2.1 Specifications The requirements to be met by the site survey shall be specified in a survey programme, whereby all required documents and information shall be listed. According to DIN 18710-1:2010-09, 4.2, the task description shall contain the followin

28、g specifications: objective of the survey or purpose of the contract; scope, time and accuracy of the survey, target quantities, spatial reference; objects, object points and conditions to be surveyed; special aspects of the object, framework conditions; how results are to be presented and data orga

29、nization including specification of data processing programmes. 4.2.2 Data organization Site survey results shall be structured and recorded in a uniform manner. Data organization shall be unambiguous, complete and shall be agreed, in writing, by the contracting parties. Data exchanges shall be impl

30、emented without data loss. Data organization includes: the data structure and the data exchange format. NOTE Both the measured values and the measurement results can be included in the data organization. 4.2.3 Scope of site surveys The limits of the object to be surveyed shall be defined depending o

31、n the purpose of the survey, both in writing and on plans and drawings. The number, position and density of the object points or conditions to be surveyed shall be selected in such a way that the survey results are unambiguous. When generating digital topography models, it is normally necessary to a

32、cquire data from an area extending considerably further than the project area in order to obtain usable basis data even for the boundary areas as required in modelling and calculations. The object points and reference points of construction works (see Tables 1 to 3) shall be selected in such a way t

33、hat the specified site survey requirements are met. 4.2.4 Reference system A site survey is always based on a uniform reference system (see DIN 18710-1). DIN 18710-2:2010-09 7 The geodetic control stations of the reference system shall conform to the specifications of DIN 18710-1. The principle of n

34、eighbourhood shall be adhered to, whenever necessary. Examples of ways of defining the reference system are: points of the ordnance geodetic control network and points of a local geodetic network. Existing geodetic control stations (e.g. of the public survey or cadastral authorities) are to be used

35、wherever these are suitable. If points defined in a local geodetic network are used, they shall be connected to the ordinary geodetic control network. When defining a geodetic control network for the survey (see DIN 18709-1), consideration shall be given to the fact that it should also be possible t

36、o use this as a basis for future survey work (e.g. setting-out and deformation measurements). 4.3 Survey programme The requirements for conducting and evaluating engineering surveys are specified in the survey programme on the basis of the task description (see 4.2). The survey programme shall be sp

37、ecific to ensure that surveying of an object is carried out correctly. Depending on the task description (see 4.2), the programme shall contain at least the following information (see DIN 18710-1:2010-09, 4.3): description of the object to be measured from engineering-geodetic point of view, togethe

38、r with data organization specifications (see 4.2.2), the scope of the site survey (see 4.2.3) and the reference system (see 4.2.4); survey accuracy requirements; descriptions of exceptional conditions which may impair on-site measurements (e.g. unsecure subsoil conditions); metrological implementati

39、on of the required measurement accuracy (see 4.6), measurement procedure (see 4.4) and measuring technique, e.g. type, number and distribution of the necessary survey and object points (see DIN 18710-1:2010-09, 3.2.6 and 3.2.7) and definition of the reference system (see DIN 18710-1:2010-09, 3.2.1),

40、 in particular data on the horizontal position and elevation of the provided survey points (geodetic control stations). measuring instruments to be used (see 4.5) including information on how these are to be checked (calibration and alignment); considerations concerning the application of particular

41、 measurement procedures (see 4.4), especially the ambient conditions to be observed and documented (see influence quantity, DIN 18710-1:2010-09, A.2.2). site survey documents (see 4.7); procedure description (see 4.8) including information on the time schedule of the measurements (times at which mea

42、surements are to be made); evaluations (see 4.9) and documentation (see 4.10) of the survey; information on the personnel performing the survey. NOTE An example of a site survey programme is shown in Annex B. DIN 18710-2:2010-09 8 4.4 Measurement procedures The measurement procedures (see DIN 18710-

43、1), in conjunction with the specified measuring instruments, shall ensure that: the survey points can be determined with the specified accuracy; the required protection against gross errors (see DIN 18709-4) and systematic measurement errors exists; the specified requirements for evaluation and prov

44、ision of the results are met. 4.5 Measuring instruments Measuring instruments requirements depend on: the task description and the measurement procedure, accuracy requirements and the characteristics of the object to be measured. The surveying equipment used for the survey shall be documented, e.g.

45、in the survey programme (see 4.3). The measuring instruments used shall be checked (e.g. in accordance with DIN 18723-1) at a time as close as possible to the time of the measurements. The results of these checks shall be documented (calibration and alignment records). 4.6 Measurement accuracy The s

46、ite survey shall be conducted with adequate accuracy and reliability (see DIN 18710-1). Measurement accuracy shall preferably be specified in accordance with DIN 18710-1:2010-09, 4.6. In site surveys, the accuracy requirements for building or plant construction planning and the ensuing setting-out w

47、ork shall also be taken into consideration. The measurement accuracy depends on what the survey points are to be used for (e.g. as mandatory points, points on the structure, topographical points). NOTE Table 1 shows the accuracy classes as a function of the purpose of the survey. The accuracy of the

48、 site survey refers to the accuracy classes as defined in Tables 1 and 2 of DIN 18710-1:2010-09.
