The

5、standard form in Annex A to this standard in which to give information on cold formed helical compression springs is intended to facilitate the processing of enquiries and orders and to avoid misunderstandings. When submitting enquiries or orders for cold formed helical compression springs, it is re

6、commended using the scaled-down version of Form A given in Annex A to this standard. Form A can be ordered from Beuth Verlag GmbH, D-10772 Berlin. Copying the form with the information “according to DIN 2099-1” is permitted. Form A is designed so that it can also be used as a manufacturing drawing.

7、Amendments The following amendments have been made to DIN 2099-1:1973-11: a) The title of the standard has been extended to include the expression “cold formed” compression springs. b) Form A has been revised; Figure 3 has been deleted and some symbols have been replaced by others in international u

8、se according to more recent spring standards. c) The standard has been editorially revised. The following corrections have been made to DIN 2099-1:2002-11: in Figure A.1 Form A, the units given for the stresses 1, 2, n andc have been corrected to N/mm2. 9、, 2002-11 1 Scope This standard applies without restriction solely to cold formed helical compression springs made from wire and bar. It specifies a form in A4 format according to DIN EN ISO 216 for the information to be supplied on these compression springs. NOTE 1 When designing compression spring

10、s from sectional steel, it shall be noted that non-standardized sections cannot always be supplied. In many cases, however, the square section can be replaced by a circular cross-section. NOTE 2 If compression springs made of sectional steels cannot be avoided in special cases, e.g. for installation

11、 reasons, it is necessary to consult the spring manufacturer. The form can then be completed according to corresponding agreements about design and permissible deviations. 3 DIN 2099-1:2003-02 2 Normative references This standard incorporates by dated or undated reference, provisions from other publ

12、ications. These normative references are cited at the appropriate places in the text and the publications are listed hereafter. 15、 to complete the whole scheme provided in the form. Primarily the information required for the specific application of the springs is sufficient. Dimensional values not required for processing can be placed in brackets. No tolerances are given for dimensions in brackets, e.g. the spring rate R. Surf

16、ace markings for ground seatings may be added in the drawing if necessary. If a specific surface quality is required for the seatings, this shall be agreed separately with the manufacturer and entered in Box 13 “Additional information”. The information on material and permissible shear stress (Box 9

17、) and on tolerances (Box 10) depends on the manufacturing method resulting from the size of the springs. For compression springs with a wire or rod diameter from approximately 10 mm to 17 mm, the manufacturing method (hot formed or cold formed) depends on the loading, spring application and material

In order to facilitate efficient production, the maximum possible tolerances according to DIN 2095 shall always be included with the data on outer or inner coil diameter De or Di, nominal free length of the spring L0, spring forces F1to Fn, and deviations e1and e2. The “production compensation” de

19、scribed in DIN 2095 shall be taken into account. If the springs are used in a tube or over a mandrel, the minimum tube diameter Dhor the maximum mandrel diameter Ddshall be indicated on the form. It shall be noted that the coil diameter of the springs increases when they are compressed and even spri
