See DIN 22102-1 for the symbols used.

12、or bulk goods, the zone in which the textile plies at the ends of two lengths of belt are permanently “spliced”, i.e. joined together, for the purpose of load transmission 4 Dimensions, design and designation Different splice geometries are described below according to the minimum breaking load of t

13、he belt, the number of plies and the belt design. For all splice dimensions where the tolerance is not given, the tolerance shall be 2 %. Any extra thickness caused by the splice shall not exceed 3 mm. Designation of a conveyor belt splice for a type 400/1 conveyor belt: EXAMPLE Conveyor belt splice

31、3= 333 N/mm Step length lstfor this value = 300 mm Splice length: lv= 300 (3 1) lv= 600 mm 13DIN 22102-3:2014-01 5 Splicing conveyor belts 5.1 General Suitable materials shall be used for splicing the different types of conveyor belt. 5.2 Heating platens in vulcanizing machines Heating platens shall

32、 extend at least 100 mm in the longitudinal direction beyond the length of the splice and on each side of the splice, and shall be at least 50 mm wider on each side than the conveyor belt. 6 Marking At the customers request, the splice may be permanently marked with the following sequence of symbols

33、: a) date of splice manufacture (month and year); b) manufacturers symbol; c) splice number; d) fitters symbol. The letters and numbers in the marking shall be at least 20 mm high with a line width of at least 3 mm. Groups of numbers and/or letters shall be separated by a space. EXAMPLE 4/11 NN 15 21 14
