This standard has

、been prepared by Working Committee NA 062-07-43 AA Bauteile aus Stahl- und Spannbeton in kerntechnischen Anlagen (Reinforced and prestressed concrete components in nuclear facilities) of the DIN-Normenausschuss Materialprfung (DIN Standards Committee Materials Testing). Applicants wishing to erect o

、r make substantial changes to a structure are required to draw up a report containing a list of regulations that must be taken into account and other relevant conditions (e.g. actions). In the course of the approval procedure this report will be checked for compliance with building regulations and l

、egislation relating to nuclear facilities. This procedure ensures that due consideration is given to technical safety requirements when planning and designing suchlike structures. The loading resulting from permanent and temporary actions (including loads and stresses occurring during construction a

、nd erection) as well as accidental actions (e.g. incidents and very rare events), and the associated technical safety requirements for the structural elements are determined in the respective approval or supervision procedure. Such requirements may be justified for structural and/or operational reas

、ons. This standard covers additional requirements which are not included in other guidelines, regulations and standards. Particularly it describes the type of internal and external actions that have to be taken into account when designing structural elements in nuclear facilities, including the rule

、s that are to be used regarding combinations of various types of action. Furthermore, the requirements for building approval procedures are to be met. In addition, this standard makes reference to the required dynamic calculations and to permissible simplifications. It specifies the partial factors,

、 the combination factors and the material property values to be applied to the verifications in the ultimate limit state. This standard also specifies additional conditions that need to be met in terms of structural safety at specific locations of structural elements (e.g. limits for deformation and

、 crack width control). If this standard is applied, the load-bearing capacity of the structure as designed is ensured as is the continued function of the structure in terms of safety provided that consideration is given to additional conditions. Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the
