Amendments This standard differs from DIN 267-13:1993-08 as follows: a) The title has been amended. b) The references have been updated. c) The additional requirements for property classes 5.6 and 8.8 for bolts and 5-2 and 8 for nuts for u

7、se at temperatures ranging from 10 C to +300 C have been deleted. d) The material names have been updated. e) Steel grade 42CrMo4 has been included. f) The permitted steel grades as in DIN EN ISO 3506-1 or DIN EN ISO 3506-2 are no longer limited to a given range. g) Copper alloy austenites have been

11、1980-03, 1993-08 1 Scope This standard specifies material designations and mechanical properties of bolts and nuts with metric screw thread for use at service temperatures ranging from 200 C to +700 C, where requirements are to be met with regard to low temperature toughness and high temperature str

12、ength. This standard supplements the specifications of DIN EN ISO 898-1, DIN EN 20898-2 and DIN EN ISO 898-6 by allowing the use of such fasteners at service temperatures below 50 C and above +150 C. 3 DIN 267-13:2007-05 2 Normative references The following reference documents are indispensable for

23、operty classes 4.1 Mechanical properties For austenitic steel fasteners designed for low service temperatures down to 200 C, Table 1 shall apply. The mechanical properties for the relevant steel grade and property class shall be as specified in DIN EN ISO 3506-1 and DIN EN ISO 3506-2. Table 1 Austen

The mechanical properties for the relevant heat treatment condition shall be as specified i

27、n DIN EN 10269:2006-07, Table 4. The selection of the material grade required for the intended application may be based on the values specified in DIN EN 10269:2006-07 for the 0,2 % proof strength at elevated temperatures (Table 5), the creep strength (Table C.1) and the relaxation properties (Table

28、 D.1). Where additional requirements are to be met, these shall be agreed when ordering. Relevant in this connection are the specifications given in AD 2000-Merkbltter W 2, W 7 and W 10, in VdTV-Werkstoffbltter WB 113/2, WB 435/3 and WB 490 or in the Technische Regel fr Dampfkessel (Code of practice

29、 for steam boilers) TRD 106, or the requirement that a particular austenitic material is to be used. 35、ndard is only fully loadable if the mating bolt and nut themselves are fully loadable, i.e. the nut corresponds to at least type 1 for coarse pitch threads and at least type 2 for fine pitch threads; the thread tolerance positions are compatible, e.g. 6g/6H3 ), and the tensile strength of the nut ma

36、terial is more than 70 % of that of the bolt material. Examples of bolt/nut material combinations that have proved suitable are given in Table 3. NOTE If extension sleeves are used in bolt/nut assemblies with the materals in Table 3, the same material should preferably be used for both screw and ext

37、ension sleeve. 4.2.2 Fully loadable bolts According to this standard a bolt is deemed fully loadable, if failure occurs after the minimum failure load Rm, min As, minaccording to Table 4 or Table 5 has been reached in a tensile test on the complete bolt and for bolts as in Table 2, when tested accor

38、ding to DIN EN ISO 898-1, this failure occurs in the free threaded length subject to the load or for bolts as in Table 1, when tested according to DIN EN ISO 3506-1, this failure occurs in the free threaded length or the shank subject to the load. . 4.2.3 Fully loadable nuts According to this standa

39、rd, nuts are deemed fully loadable if they withstand the proof load, equal to the minimum failure load Rm, min As, Nennof the bolt as in Table 4 or Table 5 and the external diameter of a round nut or the width across flats of a hexagon nut is at least equal to the width across flats as in DIN ISO 27

40、2 and the height of the nut is at least type 1 for coarse pitch thread and at least type 2 for fine pitch thread. 3)Bolt/nut assemblies consisting of components complying with DIN 2510-3 to DIN 2510-7 are not fully loadable due to their waisted shank. To take this into account, tolerances on the thr

44、er than the hardness of the bolts with which the nuts are combined. As a result, the test stress is always higher than the highest minimum tensile strength of the bolt recommended for use in the combination. bThe test stresses given here are higher than those specified in DIN EN ISO 3506-2 in order

45、to identify fully loadable nuts in the proof load test. While nuts of property classes 70 and 80 to DIN EN ISO 3506-2 with small diameters produced in large batches are usually cold-formed and property class 50 is only supplied hot-formed for larger diameters, special nuts to DIN 267-13 are required

46、 to be machined from steel bars when produced in small batches. As these bars obtain their strength through strain-hardening (drawing), with the result that their mechanical properties are not uniform over their cross section, there is a risk that the nuts manufactured from such bars will achieve th

47、e low test stress in the proof load test to DIN EN ISO 3506-2 using a hardened mandrel, but that they will fail before the minimum failure load is reached when they are combined with a softer bolt.
