6、pparatebau (FNCA) (Chemical Apparatus Standards Committee) in DIN. DIN 28032, DIN 28036 and DIN 28038 described different types of flanges for process vessels which were all based on the same design principle. These are now compiled in the present standard, DIN 28033. Attention is drawn to the possi

7、bility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent rights. DIN and/or DKE shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights. Amendments This standard differs from DIN 28032:2005-06, DIN 28036:2005-06 and DIN 28038:2003-06 as follows: a) DIN 28032

8、, DIN 28036 and DIN 28038 have been revised and compiled under one, new title; b) flange types are now specified in 3.2; c) weld preparation and weld design are combined in Table 2; d) test and vent holes are combined in 3.4.2; e) dimensions and masses are combined in Table 3; f) specifications rega

9、rding finishes, machining allowances and designation examples are combined; g) specifications regarding marking are combined; h) Annex A “Explanatory notes” has been deleted; i) a new informative Annex A giving guidance values for the maximum allowable pressure is now included. General requirements for flanges are spec

Facings shall be machined after the flange has been welded to the vessel or vessel compon

24、e 3). These are to be located between two bolt holes. The holes are to be closed with a threaded plug or closed in a suitable manner at the manufacturers discretion. Flanges as in this standard are supplied to the vessel manufacturer by the flange manufacturer without test or vent holes. If the flan
