Previous editions DIN 51515-2: 2004-11 DIN 51515-2:2010-02 4 1 Scope This document specifies minimum requirements for oils for high thermal stress (high temperature service) in turbines. Turbine oils are mineral oils containing ad

9、ditives designed to improve corrosion protection and ageing resistance. Where turbine oils are to provide enhanced resistance to wear, the requirements specified in Clause 4 also apply. The turbine oils specified in this document are used in lubrication and, in some cases, control systems in steam t

10、urbines, gas turbines, in machines with electric drive or such driven by steam turbines (such as generators, compressors, pumps), and in drive mechanisms. For turbine oils for normal temperature service, the requirements according to DIN 51515-1 apply. 2 Normative references The following referenced

The oil sample, in a glass vessel (inner diameter approximately 38 mm, height approximately 300 mm) is to be rinsed in a 121

34、C nitrogenous oil bath (48 h, nitrogen flow rate 3 l/h). The pre-treated oil is then to be tested again according to ASTM D 2272.
