1、Liquefied petroleum gases Propane, propene, butane, butene and their Requirements mixtures Flssiggase; Propan, Propen, Butan, Buten und deren Gemische; Anforderungen DIN - 51 622 Supersedes November 1973 edition. In keeping with current practice in standards published by the International Organizati
2、on for Standardization (ISO), a comma has been used throughout as the decimal marker. 1 Scope and field of application This standard specifies liquefied petroleum gases as defined in clause 2. They are obtained from the produc- tion and processing of petroleum and natural gas, from the synthesis of
3、hydrocarbons and from petrochemical processes and are used, amongst other things, - as basic materials for further chemical processing; - as fuel gas for domestic, commercial and industrial - for the production of gases for the public gas supply; - as fuel for internal combustion engines. purposes;
4、2 Concept For the purposes of this standard, liquefied petroleum gases are the commercially available qualities of C3 and C4 hydrocarbons, propane, propene, butane and their mixtures. 3 Requirements 3.1 Composition The composition is to be determined in accordance with DIN 51 619. 3.1.1 Propane Comm
5、ercially available propane is a mixture of at least 95% by mass of propane and propene; the propane content shall predominate. The remainder may consist of ethane, ethene, butane and butene isomers. 3.1.2 Propene Commercially available propene is a mixture of at least 95 % by mass of propene and pro

The remainder may consist of ethane, ethene, butane and butene isomers. 3.1.3 Butane Commercially available butane is a mixture of at least 95 % by mass of butane and butene isomers; the butane isomer content shall predominate. The remainder may consist o

The remainder may consist of propane, propene, pentane and pentene isomers. 3.1.5 Mixtures For t
8、he purposes of this standard, mixtures are those consisting of the liquefied petroleum gases defined in subclauses 3.1.1 to 3.1.4. Mixtures intended as fuel gas for domestic and com- mercial purposes shall not contain more than 60 % by mass of butane as defined in subclause 3.1.3 (residual propane a
