The method is particularly suitable for those articles that are intended to come into contact with the skin, or for
9、which it can be foreseen that they will, when used, come into contact with the skin. With the test it is established whether colouring materials can migrate from the articles for common use to the skin. This standard does not apply to articles for common use that are intended to come into contact wi
10、th foodstuffs or to those articles or parts of articles whose function is the release of colouring materials. NOTE Examples of the latter are wax crayons and leads of pencil crayons. The test method is applicable to all articles for common use, independent of the colouring procedure applied (e.g. dy

Possible mechanical wear (e.g. exposure of a coloured layer after mechanical abrasion of a finishing coat) is not taken into account. 2 Normative references The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document. Transfer the solution to a 1 000 ml one-mark volumetric flask and make up to the mark with water. Before use, make sure that the pH value of t

Use the artificial sweat on the day of preparation. 6 Procedure 6.1 Depending on the size of the article to be tested (referred to as the specimen in the following), cut a strip about 15 mm wide and up to 80 mm long from the filter paper (4.1). 6.2 Soa

22、articularly to be observed in the case of curved articles). For this purpose, the adhesive tape shall cover the filter paper strip over its entire length and at least 10 mm shall project over both ends of the strip so that it can adhere to the dry areas of the specimen. 5 DIN 53160-2:2010-10 If the

If the article is too small to be arranged for the test as described above (e.g. wooden beads) it is to be tightly wrapped in a piece of filter paper soaked with the artificial sweat. 6.4 Store the spec

Place the filter paper, w

Evaluate the coloration of the filter paper by comparison with the grey scale as defined in DIN EN 20105-A03. Indicate the step on the grey scale as the result. If the filter paper is not coloured uniformly
