Foreword This part of DIN 6650 contains safety requirements. This part of DIN 6650 has been prepared by Joint Worki

6、ng Committee NA 012-00-04 GA Gemeinschafts-arbeitsausschuss FNCA/NAL: Getrnkeschankanlagen of the Normenausschuss Chemischer Apparatebau (FNCA) (Process Engineering Standards Committee) and the Normenausschuss Lebensmittel und landwirtschaftliche Produkte (NAL) (Food and Agricultural Products Standa

7、rds Committee). In NAL the standardization work was coordinated within Working Committee NA 057-02-01 AA Lebensmittelhygiene. This part of DIN 6650 was prepared in cooperation with the study group Getrnkeschankanlagen of the Berufsgenossenschaft Nahrungsmittel und Gaststtten (Food and Restaurant Emp

8、loyers Liability Insurance Association) as well as the Deutscher Verein des Gas- und Wasserfaches e.V. (German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water). Point of use water coolers for the dispensing of drinking water, in their conventional form (i.e. integrated as post-mix systems in

9、bar counters) have always been deemed beverage dispensing systems according to the terminology of the (repealed) Getrnkeschankanlagenverordnung (German Beverage Dispensing Systems Ordinance). In the course of the harmonization of the legal regulations and once the Betriebssicherheitsverordnung (Germ

10、an Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health) came into effect, it became necessary to once again modify provisions to reflect the state of the art, this time in the Technische Regeln fr Betriebssicherheit (German Technical Rules for Industrial Safety) (TRBS) and new German Standards, including the

11、DIN 6650 standards series. At the same time, the requirements of the Trinkwasserverordnung (German Drinking Water Ordinance) had to be considered. This part of DIN 6650 takes into account the systems that are now increasingly designed as individual systems and no longer as point of use cooler system

12、s integrated in bar counters for the dispensing of water. Insofar as there are common grounds with the Drinking Water Ordinance, reference is made to DVGW W 516, which enables product certification as defined by the Drinking Water Ordinance, if applicable. 14、 7: Hygiene requirements for the installation of beverage dispense systems Part 8: Requirements for point of use water coolers Part 9: Water coolers DIN 6650-8:2009-12 4 1 Scope This part of DIN 6650 specifies technical and hygienic requirements for point of use water coolers (water dispensers) for

15、the dispensing of water with and without the addition of syrup. This comprises the requirements for the technical nature and operation of beverage dispensing systems for the dispensing of water and beverages as foodstuffs. These requirements are specified to take into account all risk factors known

16、to date. This part of DIN 6650 does not apply to product certification as defined by the Drinking Water Ordinance (TrinkwV). 29、loads due to physical and chemical stress, and remain functional and leak tight, see DIN 6650-3; b) contamination by soiling and, in particular, the growth of microorganisms is prevented, see DIN 6650-4 and DIN EN 1672-2. Point of use water coolers shall conform to the relevant regulations and stand

30、ards, e.g. the Machinery Directive (98/37/EC or 06/42/EC), the Low Voltage Directive (06/95/EC), DIN EN 60335-1 (VDE 0700-1) and DIN EN 60335-2-24 (VDE 0700-24). 5 Material requirements The materials used for the point of use water coolers shall conform to the requirements specified in DIN 6650-2, D

31、IN 6650-3 and DIN 6650-4. All materials and parts coming into contact with foods shall be designed so that dispensed water and beverages cannot be adversely affected by the use of syrups or cleaning agents and disinfectants. The section between the connection to the drinking water installation and t

32、he non-return valve shall conform to the requirements specified in DIN 1988-2:1988-12, 2.2. 6 Design 6.1 Safety requirements 6.1.1 All materials and components shall be suitable for the use of water and syrups and shall safely withstand the mechanical stresses while remaining leak tight (see DIN 665

33、0-2). 6.1.2 The water-end part shall be designed so that a backflow from the device into the drinking water connection is safely prevented (e.g. double check valve). The test shall be performed according to DIN EN 1717. 6.1.3 Carbonator containers shall be provided with a separate safety device agai

34、nst excess pressure. 6.1.4 The gas-end section of the water system (e.g. the carbonator container) shall be designed so that all components can withstand the operating pressure and there is a safety valve against pressure excesses. The test shall be performed according to DIN 6650-5. 6.1.5 Backflow

35、of water into the compressed gas tank shall be safely prevented, see DIN 6650-3. 6.1.6 Electrical components shall conform to DIN EN 60335-1 (VDE 0700-1), DIN EN 60335-2-24 (VDE 0700-24) and IEC 61770. 6.2 Hygiene requirements 6.2.1 Safety and drain valves of carbonator containers shall be easily ac

36、cessible for service ensuring the extensive and effective cleaning and disinfection of the carbonator containers via a complete flooding of the carbonator container with the cleaning agent and disinfectant. DIN 6650-8:2009-12 7 6.2.2 Mixers and carbonator containers shall be designed so that a compl

37、ete removal of residues is possible. 6.2.3 The outlet area shall be designed so that microbiological contamination of the water system starting from the outlet is largely avoided. The design should be such that direct contact by the operator with the outlet tube, e.g. with the fingers, cups, glasses

38、, etc., is prevented. The accumulation of stagnant uncooled water in the outlet should be prevented by the design so that a retrograde microbiological contamination risk cannot result. 6.2.4 Dead spaces and dead sections shall be prevented by the design, insofar as technically possible. 6.2.5 Drain

39、valves shall be designed so that these are easy to disassemble and clean. 6.2.6 Drip pans/trays shall be easy to clean and remove. If the drip pan is permanently connected to a wastewater connection, the drip pan connection shall be easy to disconnect in order to enable reliable cleaning and disinfe

40、ction. 7 Documentation Documentation shall be enclosed with every point of use water cooler upon delivery and shall contain at least the following information: system description; documentation according to the Machinery Directive (Directive 98/37/EC or 06/42/EC); manufacturer certification concerni

41、ng implementation of cleaning and disinfection. Information regarding: a) intended use; b) initial commissioning/requirements for the installation site; c) handling of CO2gas containers (for devices with carbonated water); d) description of required safety equipment; e) need for and implementation o

42、f cleaning and disinfection; f) care and maintenance; g) periodic inspections; h) decommissioning; i) procedures in case of malfunction. DIN 6650-8:2009-12 8 Information for the service technician: 1) detailed instructions shall be made available to the service technicians as regards installation an

43、d maintenance, which shall contain more comprehensive information, e.g. a precise description of assembly/installation and commissioning; 2) detailed description of the cleaning/disinfection process (recommended cleaning agents and disinfectants, cleaning and disinfection intervals) as well as infor

44、mation on incompatible cleaning agents and disinfectants; 3) special aspects to be observed when using water filters; 4) flow diagram/system diagram; 5) electric circuit diagram. 8 Marking Every point of use water cooler shall have a permanent type plate in a clearly visible location. The plate shal

45、l bear the data specified in DIN 6650-1. The following data is also required: a) operating pressure, in bar (water end, syrup end, gas end); b) rated voltage, current, power and frequency; c) type and amount of coolant used; d) protection class and degree of protection. 46、(normative) Operation of point of use water coolers A.1 Device cleaning and disinfection This annex contains requirements for the proper handling of point of use water coolers which will ensure compliance with safety and hygiene requirements. The information provided by the manufacturer in the opera

47、ting instructions in respect to installation site, installation, connection to the drinking water installation, gas supply, device cleaning and disinfection, maintenance and repair work etc. shall be complied with. The operating personnel shall be instructed on how to safely work with the point of u

48、se water cooler. NOTE For this see also the Leitlinien fr eine gute Hygiene-Praxis fr Vertreiber und Betreiber von leitungsgebundenen Wasserspendern (POU Point of Use) (Guidelines for good hygiene practice for sellers and operators of point of use water coolers). A.2 Installation and operation A.2.1 Point of use water coolers shall be installed and operated on site in such a way that persons are not put at risk. A.2.2 Devices that can be plugged in shall be connected to an earthed contact soc
