8、chienenfahrzeuge (FSF) (DIN Standards Committee Railway). Adhesive bonding is a process essential to the production of railway vehicles and their components. The DIN 6701 series of standards gives specifications relating to this process, which are based on the generic standards for adhesive bonding

9、and take the requirements specifically relevant to rail vehicle design into account. Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent rights. DIN and/or DKE shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights. DIN 6

10、701 Adhesive bonding of railway vehicles and parts consists of the following parts: Part 1: Basic terms, basic rules Part 2: Qualification of manufacturer of adhesive bonded materials Part 3: Guideline for construction design and verification of bonds on railway vehicles Part 4: Manufacturing contro

Previous editions DIN 6701-2: 2006-05 DIN 6701-2:2015-12 4 1 Scope This standard applies to the adhesive bonding and sealing of adherends in the manufacture and repair of rail vehicles and their components. It specifies general

13、definitions and basic requirements for any bonding and sealing work involved. It also specifies requirements to be met by contractors. It applies specifically to the manufacture, repair and quality assurance of rail vehicles and their components. It also applies to: the manufacture of insulated glaz

14、ing units using adhesives and sealing materials; the manufacture of bonded assemblies using adhesives and sealing materials (e.g. bonded sandwich panels). This standard does not apply to: the manufacture of laminated safety glass; the securing of fasteners by means of adhesives; the manufacture of v

15、ulcanizates; the manufacture of plywood; the manufacture of fibre reinforced plastic components and the lamination of components (e.g. CFRPs, GFRPs); the casting of electronic component assemblies using adhesive without any mechanical requirements on bond strength. 2 Normative references The followi

24、by contractors 4.1 Staffing 4.1.1 General The contractor shall have sufficient staff that are qualified for planning, workmanship, supervision and testing. 4.1.2 Qualifications of bonding personnel Table 1 specifies levels of qualification for bonding personnel. 27、 accredited in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17024 and proof of five years of experience in bonding work). 3 Qualified skills, e.g. European Adhesive Bonder (EAB) as in EWF 515 or as in DVS-EWF 3305 or comparable qualification (proof of technical knowledge as acquired at an educational institution

28、accredited in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17024 and proof of three years of experience in bonding work). 4.1.3 Bonding supervisors 4.1.3.1 General The contractor shall have sufficient qualified staff as in Table 1 for bonding supervision, capable of adequately instructing the bonders as to their

29、work and of supervising and checking the workmanship. See Table 2 for tasks of supervisors. Bonding supervisors shall be given all necessary powers to perform their tasks. DIN 6701-2:2015-12 7 It shall be the contractors responsibility to designate at least one person as the responsible bonding supe

30、rvisor (“supervisor in charge”, for short) who is authorized to coordinate all operations associated with bonding work in the various areas. At least one deputy supervisor shall be designated. See Table 3 for minimum qualifications of the supervisor in charge and the deputy. Where a number of person

31、s have been charged with the supervision, the tasks, scope of responsibility and interfaces shall be specified for each person separately. Level 1 staff (as in Table 1) shall have comprehensive knowledge regarding the planning, workmanship, supervision and testing of all tasks in order to perform th

32、eir duties as described in Table 2. Level 2 staff (as in Table 1) shall have specialized knowledge regarding planning, workmanship, supervision and testing within a selected or limited area in order to perform their duties as described in Table 2. Supervisors shall demonstrate (e.g. by presenting a

33、certificate of attendance) that they have attended a training course offered by a third party at intervals of not more than two years. 4.1.3.2 Duties of supervisors In the bonding process all requirements particular to bonding are to be considered. This is to be ensured for all relevant areas of the

34、 contractors works, such as design and development; process planning; manufacturing; repairing; purchasing; sales; assembly; subcontracting. 42、ication. It is the supervisor in charges responsibility to select deputy staff, check their qualifications and instruct them as to the work to be done. All details of such an assignment shall be documented in detail. 4.1.3.3 Qualifications of bonding supervisor and deputy Depending on the safety cla

43、ss of the bond (see DIN 6701-3:2015-12, Table 1) and the process stage, the contractor shall have sufficiently qualified personnel. 48、nd not having the same qualification level) may be appointed. dOr proof of specialized knowledge. 4.1.3.4 Organizational integration of bonding supervision Only those persons from the contractors staff shall be appointed as supervisors who are capable of performing their respective duties and respon

49、sibilities in accordance with this series of standards without any restrictions. To this effect, they shall be conferred the necessary managerial authority and shall be entrusted with the decision-making powers permitting them to act free of operational and temporal constraints.
