9、to bright key steel (bright steel for producing taper keys and parallel keys, see Bibliography) in bars of square, rectangular or flat-rectangular cross section, with the nominal sizes given in Tables 1 and 2 and made of the steel grades specified in Clause 6. This standard does not apply to bright
10、steel products complying with DIN EN 10278 (round, square, hexagon and flat bars). 2 Normative references The following referenced documents are indispensable for the application of this document. 12、poses of this document, the following term and definition apply. 3.1 bright key steel descaled steel which has been cold formed by non-cutting methods and which has a comparatively smooth, bright surface and an appropriately high dimensional accuracy; it is intended for producing taper keys and para

15、 steel); c) number of this standard (DIN 6880); d) symbol denoting the edge design, i.e. SK for square edges or GK for edges broken all round (chamfer or radiusing), (see Clause 7); e) dimensions (width and height); f) if lengths other than manufacturing lengths are required, the stock length or exa
16、ct length and length tolerances (see Clause 8); g) reference to the material standard including the number of the part (DIN EN 10277-2); h) steel name or material number (normally grade C45 with the material number 1.0503, see Clause 6); i) finished condition (normally symbol +C denoting drawn produ
17、cts, see DIN EN 10277-1); j) if a surface quality other than that conforming to class 1 as in DIN EN 10277-1 is required, the relevant surface quality class (see Clause 9). 20、 and radiusing) The preferred dimensions in which bright key steel is to be supplied and the permissible deviations are given in Tables 1 and 2. 5.2 Straightness Where specified at the time of enquiry and order and in cases of dispute, an agreed number of bars shall be checked for straightness in ac
21、cordance with the method specified in Annex A. The tolerances specified in Table 3 shall apply. DIN 6880:2011-06 6 5.3 Mass The values of mass given in the tables have been calculated from the cross section on the basis of a specific gravity of 7,85 kg/dm3. Grade C45 steel, material number 1.0503, finished condition +C (drawn steel) is normally used. 7 Finish Key steel complying with this standard is normally su
29、pplied with square edges. Square-edged steel products may have an undefined profile within a distance of 0,2 mm from the hypothetical edge. Where specified at the time of enquiry and order, key steel products shall be supplied with edges broken all round. Unless otherwise specified at the time of en
30、quiry and order, chamfer or radiusing shall be at the manufacturers discretion within the limits specified in Tables 1 and 2. 8 Form supplied Key steel shall be supplied in manufacturing lengths of 3 000 mm to 4 000 mm or in stock lengths of 3 000 mm to 3 200 mm or 6 000 mm to 6 200 mm. Other length
31、s, such as exact lengths for example, and their permissible deviations shall be agreed at the time of enquiry and order. DIN 6880:2011-06 9 9 Surface condition The surface condition of the products shall be in accordance with one of the classes specified in DIN EN 10277-1:2008-06, Table 1. Unless ot
32、herwise specified at the time of enquiry and order, key steel products shall be delivered in surface quality class 1. The depth of surface discontinuities such as pores, pits and grooves, measuring the actual deviation, shall not exceed ISO tolerance class h11. Any additional requirements, e.g. perc
33、entage contact area, may be agreed at the time of enquiry and order. 10 Testing for dimensional accuracy The number of bars on which dimensional accuracy shall be checked on despatch from the manufacturer shall be at the manufacturers discretion, unless otherwise agreed. In the case of manufacturing
34、 lengths and stock lengths, the check shall be carried out at a distance not less than 150 mm from the end of the bar. If exact lengths are supplied on the basis of a special agreement, the check shall be carried out at a distance not less than 10 mm from the end of the bar. DIN 6880:2011-06 10 Anne
35、x A (normative) Method for determining straightness A.1 Method for determining straightness A.1.1 The bar shall be supported on a suitable surface so as to eliminate or minimise sagging. A.1.2 A 1 m long straight edge shall be placed on the surface of the bar at any position along its length. No par
36、t of the straight edge shall be within 150 mm of the ends of the bar. A.1.3 Straightness shall be determined by measuring the maximum gap between the bar and the straightedge by suitable means, e.g. a feeler gauge. The bar shall be deemed straight where the maximum gap does not exceed the values spe
37、cified in Table 3.
