7、e meaning of the Gerte- und Produktsicherheitsgesetz (GPSG) (German Equipment and Product Safety Act). Annex A and Annex B are informative. The present standard has been prepared in close cooperation with the Fachausschuss Metall und Oberflchenbehandlung of the Deutsche Gesetzliche Unfallversicherun
8、g (German Social Accident Insurance), Section: Umgang mit Seilen, Ketten und Anschlagmitteln (Use of wire ropes, chains and chain slings), lead-managed by the Berufsgenossenschaft Metall Nord Sd (Metall Nord Sd Employers liability insurance association). It specifies safety requirements based on the
9、 ratios of mean stress at working force to mean stress at manufacturing proof force and to mean stress at breaking force, and also on the manufacturing proof test to be carried out for each chain. In connection with DIN 685-2, this standard falls within the scope of the Gerte- und Produktsicherheits
10、gesetz (GPSG) and is therefore to be considered as an acknowledged rule of technology within the meaning of this Act. DIN 764 Round steel link chains Round steel link chains for chain conveyors consists of the following parts: Part 1: Grade 3 Part 2: Grade 5 Part 3: Grade 7 (at present under prepara
11、tion) Amendments This standard differs from DIN 764-2:1992-09 as follows: a) grade 3 has been replaced by grade 5; b) nominal size 28 98 has been dropped; c) the division of tolerances on pitch and gauge length has been changed (see Annex A); d) the title of the standard has been changed; e) in the

13、 “calibrated” has been changed accordingly to “small tolerance”); g) the standard has been editorially revised. 14、and mechanical properties of tested, small tolerance round steel link chains of grade 5, with a nominal pitch t = 3,5 d (see Annex A). Chains according to this standard are mainly used for applications where they will be subjected to tension in chain conveyors, as defined in DIN 15201-1. Chains as s

The welds shall be positioned in the middle of the chain legs, and the length affected by welding a shall not exceed

NOTE For a strand length of 10 000 mm, for example, the maximum length difference e is 40 mm. F

DIN 764-2:2010-10 9 For chain strands of type B with matching tolerance, which are supplied bundled in pairs, the actual strand lengths shall

Thus, the values for the breaking force and the total ultimate elongation shall be deemed to have been reached i

Alternatively, they can be suspended. Any other tests are to be agreed when ordering. 10 Acceptance test For the acceptance test, if agreed, the specifications of DIN 685-3 shall apply. 11 Marking Marking shal
