The DIN 4000-161-1 tabular layout of article characteristics applies to slotted and castle nuts covered in this st

6、andard. DIN 935 consists of the following parts with the general title Hexagon slotted and castle nuts: Part 1: Metric coarse and fine pitch threads, product grades A and B Part 3: Metric coarse pitch threads, product grade C Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this do

7、cument may be the subject of patent rights. DIN shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights. Amendments This standard differs from DIN 935-1:2000-10 as follows: a) the title of the standard has been defined more precisely by adding “hexagon”; b) normative references h

Acceptance inspection DIN EN ISO 3269 applies with regard to acceptance inspection. aWhere an electroplated coating as specified in DIN EN ISO 4042 is to be applied, depending on the coating thickness required, it may be necessary, particul

38、arly in the case of tolerance class 6H nuts, to select a larger fundamental deviation than that assigned to the H position. This however, might impair the resistance of the bolt/nut assembly to stripping. bWhere nuts are to be made to comply with other property classes, these shall be selected based

39、 on the relevant standards. cAs a departure from DIN EN ISO 898-2, a minimum hardness of 272 HV 30 will be adequate for fine pitch thread nuts assigned to property classes 8 and 10. dCU2 or CU3, at the manufacturers discretion. 40、le nut of property class 8: Castle nut DIN 935 M8 8 The designation of sizes M10, M12, M14 and M22 nuts shall also include the width across flats (SW), e.g. SW18 for M12: Castle nut DIN 935 M12 SW18 8 If product grade A is desired for nominal thread diameter exceeding 16 mm, this shall be added to t

41、he designation, e.g.: Castle nut DIN 935 M20 8 A If castle nuts of nominal thread diameter from 12 mm to 39 mm without a recess below the castle are to be supplied, the symbol KK shall be added to the designation, e.g.: Castle nut DIN 935 M20 KK 8 DIN 962 shall apply with regard to the designation o
