National foreword This document (EN 12007-3:2015) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 234 “Gas infrastructure” (Secretariat: DIN, Germany). The responsible German body involved in its preparation was the DIN-Normenausschuss Gastechnik (DIN

6、Standards Committee Gas Technology), Working Committee NA 032-02-02 AA Gasverteilung. This European Standard describes the specific functional requirements for steel pipelines in addition to the general functional requirements of EN 12007-1 for maximum operating pressures up to and including 16 bar.

7、 This European Standard should be applied in association with national standards and/or technical rules setting out the above-mentioned common basic principles. In the event of conflicts in terms of more restrictive requirements in national legislation/regulation with the requirements of this standa

8、rd, national legislation/regulation shall take precedence as illustrated in CEN/TR 13737 (all parts). CEN/TR 13737 (all parts) gives: clarification of all legislation/regulations applicable in a member state; if appropriate, more restrictive national requirements; a national contact point for the la

9、test information. It is intended to include this standard in the body of technical rules and standards for gas issued by the DVGW Deutscher Verein des Gas- und Wasserfaches e.V. (German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water). Amendments This standard differs from DIN EN 12007-3:2000

10、-08 as follows: a) in the scope, recommendations have been transferred into requirements; b) EN 10208-1 has been replaced by ISO 3183; c) in Tables 1 and 2, nominal diameters DN 10 up to DN 20 have been added; d) in Subclause 4.4, reference to EN 13774 for metallic valves has been added; e) in Subcl

11、ause 4.5.2, reference to EN 12068 for organic coatings in the form of tapes and shrinkable materials has been added; f) in Subclause 4.5.3, reference to EN 12954 for cathodic protection has been added; g) in Subclause 4.6.3, the information has been added that threaded tubes shall conform to EN 1025

12、5; h) in Subclause 4.6.1, the information has been added that welding and non-destructive testing shall be carried out in accordance with EN 12732.
