This standard contains specifications meeting the essential requirements set out in Annex I of the new “Machinery Directive”, Directive 2006/42/EC, and which apply to machines that are either first placed on the market or commissio

8、ned within the EEA. This standard serves to facilitate proof of compliance with the essential requirements of the directive. Once this standard is cited in the Official Journal of the European Union, it is deemed a “harmonized” standard and thus, a manufacturer applying this standard may assume comp

9、liance with the requirements of the Machinery Directive (“presumption of conformity”). Reference to pertinent standards mentioned above is made where requirements of such standards are relevant. 1 Scope 1.1 This European Standard applies to machines for the manufacture of constr

37、uctional products from concrete and/or calcium silicate examples of which are listed in annex A of this part. It gives concepts and general and common requirements for the design, operation and maintenance of such machines. 1.2 !This European Standard deals with hazards listed in Clause 4 which can

38、arise during the operation and maintenance, including the interfaces, of the machines for the manufacture of constructional products from concrete and calcium silicate, when carried out as intended and under conditions of misuse which are reasonably foreseeable by the manufacturer. Part 2 to 8 of th

39、is standard give additional specific requirements and therefore have to be applied together with this part.“ 1.3 The preparation of concrete and/or calcium-silicate mixture and the transport from the mixer to the manufacturing plant are not part of this European Standard (see !EN 12151:2007“).
