National foreword This document (EN 14080:2013) has been
8、prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 124 “Timber structures” (Secretariat: AFNOR, France). The responsible German body involved in its preparation was the Normenausschuss Bauwesen (Building and Civil Engineering Standards Committee), Working Committee NA 005-04-01 AA Holzbau (SpA CEN/TC 124, CEN/T
9、C 250/SC 5). Amendments This standard differs from DIN EN 385:2007-11, DIN EN 386:2002-04, DIN EN 387:2002-04, DIN EN 390:1995-03, DIN EN 391:2002-04, DIN EN 392:1996-04, DIN EN 1194:1999-05 and DIN EN 14080:2005-09 as follows: a) the above-mentioned standards have been merged into this standard; b)
10、 block glued glulam and glued solid timber have been included; c) the scope has been limited to glued laminated timber made from the coniferous species listed in this standard and poplar; d) for moisture curing one-component polyurethane adhesives reference is now made to EN 15425 and EN 15416-5; e)
11、 requirements for emulsion polymer isocyanate adhesives and for gap-filling adhesives have been specified; f) specifications for resawn glulam have been included; g) a uniform denomination for lamination strength classes has been included. These classes are related to strength classes given in other
12、 European Standards; DIN EN 14080:2013-09 3 h) new values for tensile and compression strength perpendicular to the grain, for shear strength and shear modulus, modulus of elasticity parallel and perpendicular to the grain for glued laminated timber and values for rolling shear strength and modulus
13、have been included; i) for durability against biological attack, reference is made to EN 15228; j) provisions for fire resistance and dimensional stability have been included; k) maximum permissible deviations for curved glued laminated products have been specified; l) the performance requirements f
14、or finger joints in laminations have been changed; m) requirements have been introduced for the machinery for the separate application of resin and hardener to finger joints in laminations; n) the provisions for laminations laid side by side and for grooves in laminations have been changed; o) the r
